I am looking for a simple image with cccam installed, and maybe autobouquets.
i have seen the commando image seems to be well regarded,
Which commando image should I use. The box is going to be a client not a server.

the settings I am using are ip: 192.168.10.44, netmask 255.255.0.0, gateway 192.168.11.1, and dns 192.168.11.1 & 8.8.8.8

I have a situation, where I have 2 separate networks on separate subnets (192.168.10.x , 192.168.11.x) I have internet on the 10.x network, and my vu solo2 on the 11.0 network.
The two different subnets are joined by radios, and I have all static route set up to make sure that I can ping and access devices on the other subnet.
I am even able to access the vu from the other network.
So I have 2 questions.
Firstly, does the vu solo use the same internet settings for its plugins as well as cccam, ie. do they all use the same gateway ?
secondly, how do I do my settings so that I can get the box to access the internet on my other subnet?

I have a dm800HD clone. I have just flashed TSimage-3.0-OE-2.0-dm800hd-2014-03-16-ramiMAHER#ssl84D
onto it. I went to the blue panel, installed cccam and crossepg no problem.
So the box is working how it should.
I just cant seem to be able to get autobouquets working on it.
I have loaded 3 ipk files enigma2-plugin-extensions-autobouquets-e2_201308251700_mipsel, mips32el & sh4 into /tmp using DCC.
I have tried to install all of them from the blue panel/file explorer/install and by going to menu/setup/software management/install local extensions.
always fails to install.
I did some googling and found I could install with TSPanel.
I assumed that TSPanel would be installed on TSImage, but I couldn't find it. I manually installed it using software management, but then I couldn't find how to access it.
If anyone has any experience with this image and could point me in the right direction, and maybe a link to any files needed, I would be most grateful.

I sold my old dm800hd original to a friend a year or so ago, and he has brought it back to me because its not working properly. it has bootloader 75 and a really old BlackHole image on it. I suppose I will have to upload the bootloader, and install a new image.
Could someone please point me towards a suitable bootloader and an image that will work on it.
is it best to use dreamup /rs232 or network / browser method.

I am trying to sort out a friends ts100, but when I go to any page in the menu, it asks for a password.
Is there a standard password, I have tried 0000, 1111, 1234.
If there is no standard password, how can I reset the box?

a fresh day with a fresh head, and a load of help and I am sorted. I was using Internet explorer and whenever I clicked a link to download, it downloaded a file called attachment.php. I tried chrome and the file downloaded perfectly. The image I am using is Nemesis2-6-dm800-SVN-107r5-ramiMAHER . I put the above ccam.tbz2 into my tmp folder and it installed perfectly using manual install in the blue panel.

can you point me to a decent extra.url, and maybe a step by step. I really like the 2.4 image.
failing that can you recommend a decent simple stable image that wont have me pulling my hair out. all I need is cccam and crossepg to work.
I have been using dreamelite 4.1 but it crashes a lot.

I really need some help here. ;-)
I have installed nemesis 2.6 on a dm800hd clone 2.01 84b. It doesn't have cccam installed, only Dccamd.
I cant find a cccam file to download with the tgz2 extension or an ipk extension (the only extensions for a manual download that his image allows)
I found somewhere that I have to put extra.url into my var etc, and that is supposed to allow me to download cams etc directly to the box.
This didn't work for me.
There is a nemesis site and forum, but its all in Italian and I cant understand it.
Please can someone point me in the right direction.
Oh, and when I try and download from this forum and another one, I am not getting the file I want. I just get files with a .php extension.

after a lot of fooling around, I have managed to install nemesis 2.6 on my dm800hd clone 2.01 84b dreambox. I am trying to install cccam manually, but I cant find a cccam file with the tbz2 extension anywhere.
Please will someone put me out of my misery.

Hi MK, the DE4.1 takes ages to boot, and the openpli image would keep crashing, where the sound continued, but picture went black. also, the new box with the nemesis image is sim 2.10, and the older box is sim 2.01.
What I really need is a stable image with no fancy stuff. As long as cccam works and maybe crossepg, I don't care about plugins. I want to give this box to my ma, so it needs to be simple and reliable. Maybe the nemesis image isn't what I need. Maybe a different image would do.

Hi, I have recently bought a clone 800hd from china and it came with a nemesis 2.4 image on it. It works really well for me. I have another clone dm800 which I have been trying different images on, pli, and dreamelite 4.1 are the latest ones I have tried, but they both give me different problems. I would really like to try the nemesis image, but I can't find a copy that doesn't give me the NO CA error.
Please could someone point me in the right direction where a download my be found, or even explain how I can take an image from one box and use it on another.
Any help would be gratefully received,

Hi, I have a solo 2 running black hole, and it works fine. My buddy has just got himself a solo 2, and I have put BH 2.0.7 on it, but I can't remember how to install cccam. I would really appreciate it if some kind person would help me out here.

Hi all,
A while ago I was having slow boot problems with a dream-elite 4.0 image, so it was suggested that I try the OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm800-2013-02-19-sim2-SSL-84b.by aguda image. It loaded fine, and worked fine for a couple of weeks. Now, the box has started crashing. The video freezes, and the audio continues. Then after a couple of minutes, It goes blue screen. It first started happening after I installed CrossEPG, so I have re-flashed, but not installed CrossEPG. It is still crashing.
Is this a hardware or software fault?
If it is a software fault, could anyone point me towards an image that might be a bit more stable. 800HD clone sim 2.01 84b.

I have just bought a dm800 hd clone from a friend and it was already loaded with an image etc. I plugged it in and turned it on and it took 30 mins until I could start to use it. My old 800hd original took about 3 or 4 minutes with a nabilosat black hole image on it.
The new one (clone) has the following image Dream-Elite-dm800-4-0-ramiMAHER.
Is it the image that is the problem or the box itself?
If I was to change the image, which would be the best one. I don't need anything fancy. CCCam, Crossepg and streaming are important, but stability is the main issue.
I don't know which bootloader it has at the moment (it is still booting) but I can find that out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I wont be using the ariva box as a server. not a chance.
The ariva box is ok for a cheap unit, but the picture quality is brutal and there is no streaming function which is one of the most important features of these sat boxes.
I am going to buy a vu+ solo 2 for my home use and use a proper pc server with a card reader when I set my server up.
