"TSpanel is known to cause problems with all pli and oe-alliance based images"

    - is a statement that needs evidence. It is like saying "musogeek is known to wear women's clothes" without the photos of me wearing a dress and such:laugh:

Anyway, I don't use tspanel, I prefer to install plugins manually and from the feeds, and am rather fond of the LinuxsatSupportAddons at the moment. So that throws any suggestion of bias from me towards tspanel out of the window.

Saying that, I have trusted your suggestion in the past that this does mess things up, and took your word for it, so now it is probably about time for some substance behind the claim.

    By the way - I don't wear women's clothes:shocked:

I am just posting what my experience was. That is all. I was getting the error, so I did what I did, and it worked. If it was merely a coincidence, or there was something else that I did that caused the fix without me knowing then fair enough - but this is a support forum where you share your experiences to help others. I am a user, not a developer so I am not going to have loads of technical knowledge, but where no one else is presenting a solution, then there is no harm in trying.

Just recreated this after reflashing a clean image. You are getting tuner lock because it is unable to locate a service to actually find the information it needs. Ensure that your tuner is configured properly for the satellite you need to grab the bouquets from, and make sure that you don't have tuners configured for the satellite unless it is attached to a dish that can get that satellite. Then do a manual scan of that satellite to ensure autobouquets is able to select a service (alternatively, download a settings file). Once you have done the scan, try running the autobouquets scan again.

Still clearing few - but the list is getting smaller. Going to squeeze all I can out of this card:rant:

Just need to know what part of it you broke before we can help you fix it!

I assume you can get in to oscam webinterface?

do you have oscam.conf, oscam.server and oscam.user present?

If you have, do you have a [reader] entry for slyuk?

If you do, then do you have an entry in oscam.user that serves this card to your local receiver?

if you have checked all these and there is still an issue, or if you are not sure, post your configs (user - server and conf) hashing out sensitive stuff (also leave out things you don't need like shares to and from any peer) - and we can have a look.beer10

Question. Simple one - as we are the ones here you are asking for help, we want to know a couple of things, considering there are certain rules, and we just want to make sure that we are not helping people who are abusing the help we are offering.

You have 9 CCcam's and 100 clients. To most, this is unusual and excessive.

What is the purpose and intentions of your server? What sort of server are you running?

That is all. Answer that and we may be able to move on.

Do you have a single tuner receiver, and if so, are you recording or streaming something on a different position at the same time as trying to use this plugin?

Most of us have wives that would forbid us to bolt a beast like this to the house, and the complaints from the neighbours......

Think I'll stick to my motor dish for now, althouth I am a tad jealous:trbtjrjq:

Could I put the swap partition on the 512mb SSD and use the usb drive for the rest of the OS ,is that feasible ?

That would be possible. Unless you have next to no RAM, and assuming you are not running much else apart from the server, then you probably will not need a swap. You could also run a cron job that clears the memory cache periodically to assist with maximising the available RAM.

I have bbc iplayer v3 installed on open PLI image on my 800se. The fix is not working? Anyone got the on demand plugin working on 800se? Can anyone provide the file, so I can FTP over to plugins/extensions. Thanks.

You have been around a while but never posted an intro - if you could do that now that would be appreciated.Introductions
The fix was posted here as a fix to the Ondemand plugin for BBC iPlayer part of this plugin - so no one said it would work on the iPlayer plugin.
For the Ondemand plugin - try the link below.
    http://linuxsat-support.com/dr…d-working-all-images.html

It is possible. Many are running servers on Raspberry Pi - most would be using an SD card for this, which would have similar drawbacks Yes indeed there would be a shelf life, but flash drives are inexpensive. A tip is to not put a swap on the USB because that would increase the number or writes, and back up your configurations. You would probably find that it would still last many months, so just keep a spare one handy!

Hi guys, bbc I player is not working with my on demand, it opens, finds programmes but when I select to play just getting a black screen, itv etc work fine, this is the exact same on all my boxes, a vu+ duo running vix 3.0 and 2x maxdigital xp1000 running the same vix image, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Yes same here - what you need to appreciate with these sort of plugins, is they are a workaround based on the the way things work from the iPlayer website. As soon as the provider makes changes to the way it provides the service, then the plugin designers will have to change things to allow for this. Being used to using XBMC and other apps that rely on workarounds to get web based services working, I am used to this and accept it.

looking at your logs the nline must be right - it is connecting as you are getting clearance

from your logs it looks like the digital+ is working

    there is an issue here

the above suggests another problem - another client is not configured properly compared to what the server wants

but looking at the rest of the logs - there isn't an obvious issue with slyde and d+

One thing not covered yet is how you have these nlines set up in the client machine

I did ask if you could post the configs from the clients? Based on the logs there could well be something wrong here.
