you need to forward the port on your router that ssh is using to the ssh server internal IP address.
Best change the ssh port to something non standard, and to use a strong password.
please post an intro here first

I am not having any issues using FTP - if you upgraded from 2.4 to 3.0 and then restored your backups then you will have broke a number of things including FTP - know it is a pain but try reflashing from scratch with a USB stick and don't use any backups.
So as i understand you have a separate server and you have made a share for your receiver running oscam? Do you have dvbapi enabled? - post your oscam.conf oscam.user and oscam.server - also server CCcam.cfg might be useful blanking out the sensitive bits.
when you select a channel on your receiver, what is the output on oscam webinterface does it give you any messages or just appear not to be connecting?
Revisiting this - I had to the /etc/crontab on the raspberry pi - as root - I did this in an editor (not notepad of course!) - and accessed the file from winscp - ofcourse you can use nano to do this.
you only need to worry about oscam.services for boxnation if you are getting it from a peer - with a local should be ok - post your oscam.server config for your card, could be that you are blocking it out on whitelist, or if you are using oscam.services you might have it blocked or are not enabling it, depending on how you are using it - also ensure your channel list is up to date.
maybe the remote server can't clear 0963 - if you have the 0963 local this needs to be set up and the group defined in dvbapi user. Can you see 0963 in the reader entitlements?
Jeffzapp
do you have sly UK local? and if you do do you subscribe to boxnation?
Based on my own experience, if recording function is what you need, then you might be disappointed with receivers at the very cheapest end of the market, although you can do basic recording and time shifting on the Eaglebox, it struggles with HD recordings. Also bear in mind that if you want a decent EPG then you might be better off spending a bit more on an enigma2 receiver - you will need to double your budget for one of these, but think about whether you might get a cheaper one, be disappointed and end up spending more in the long run. There is the Arriva 102e for 70 quid - seems to have good reviews but I would wait for someone else to comment on how it is for recording and time shifting.
this issue seems to crop up with Ubuntu server using pcsc reader - my advice would be to change to Debian server - might save you a lot of bother!

you are aware of the above thread because you posted on it earlier - read the latest post by rikjaard-real might help - i get this occasionally but not enough to worry about!
rebooting server? silly question maybe if you have - but was helping someone yesterday and this sorted it! reboot client and server and go back make sure that your user account still has the same group as reader set.
not familar myself with vps/csp setup but it springs out that the account in oscam.user has group=3 and your card has group=1 - this being the case, the client connected to the user account will not be able to see your card as you haven't included group 1 in the user account.
post oscam.conf, oscam.user and oscam.server - if you are connected to CCcam client - post your CCcam.cfg - please explain a bit more about your setup - for example - oscam on pc server connected to receiver with cccam? oscam and cccam on receiver, oscam alone on receiver? - this is all key to help and will save time and get you sorted quicker - remember to omit any sensitive info - use ### instead.
Should be the same as any image - press the down arrow to bring up the bouquet - press the blue button to bring up your bouquets, select the one where the channel is, highlight the channel and the delete option should present itself along with other options if you press the menu button on the remote - or you could edit your list with an editor such as dreamboxedit, which should also allow you to delete channels completely from your satellite lists as well as bouquets.
are you rebooting after editing? have can you see cron as a task on startup? Have you checked the crontab file to ensure that the edit has saved?
I tested on my Raspberry, but unfortunately it doesn't work
P.S. path= /etc/crontab
in putty session type
sudo crontab -e
then in the editor, add your task - make sure you are scrolling down to a new line after all the instructional text so there are no hashes before your line, then add your task
save the task by ctrl alt and x - and answer yes to save.
can u point me in the right direction where i can get the camms from ahow how to install them mate
What sort of server are you looking to set up? Peer to peer (sharing)? Or are you looking just be a server and have lots of clients?
Amiko Alien 2 is twin tuner and therefore if you have two feeds and set up correctly then you should be able to record one channel while watching another. May I ask about your server? Do you have your own card and share to your receiver via server, are you sharing with peers, or do you have just one reader/cline which you obtained from a questionable source?
If the answer is the latter, then this could be your problem, as the service might be poor, or you may have restrictions to the level of requests allowed (anticascading)
