Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I'm looking to stream/cast from my phone to my vuplus solo2.
At the moment I can use plex on my phone to cast to my box. It works great. I have dreamplex installed.
But I would also like to cast other phone apps to my TV ( terrarium, cartoonhd etc)
Is there an plugin or setting on my vuplus to allow this? I can with localcast to chromecast but I'm sure I could do this direct to my box.
I'm running openatv image.

As for the picons problem . I wish it was that simple . I have tried multiple times and hours wasted to get them to show correctly but no joy .
Looks like i should do a fresh image install and start again .
I don't suppose any of you fine stars have a vix backup with Metrixhd setup for Uk ?
It would save me a lot of hassle from the wife over the weekend .
I used an online update . Its actually one of your backup images i use .
Hi . I'm having the same problem . Ive spent hours deleting and installing xpions in various places but i still don't have it 100% .
I have picons now showing in the epg . But i cant get them to show up on metrixhd channel selection screen ( pushing up on the controller ) .
Any help would be great .

I'm quite new to satellite and am looking for advice .
I have vu + solo2 setup in my living room and am wanting to send the signal around the house .
The house is already wired for sending freeview signal to each room through some kind of booster/splitter box in the loft . Is it possible to use the existing wiring for the satellite feed ? I sure it is .
I was looking at attaching an rf modulator from vu+ box as the box has no rf out but from what Ive been reading this is a backwards step option .
So im not sure what is required . Do i need a sat box in each room to get the best possible picture?

I have Usb dvb tuner plugged into my vu+solo2 . I have scanned and found the channels but is there a way to sort the channels into the correct order ? UK freewiew ?
I`ve searched about and i think im looking for a terrestrial .xml file but im not having much luck .
Trying to keep the wife happy . Cant really use my shiny new sat box properly until i move house in a few weeks . No sat dish at my current address .
Can anyone point me in the right direction . Need to make the box wife friendly .

Not got any video streams to play . Just crashes but this might have something to do with my other problem HERE
Radio streams are working great . This could be a great plugin .
I think im getting somewhere .
I installed libmms then was able to install gst-plugins-bad-mms .
I tried to install tsmedia .ipk and it worked . I think it downloaded and updated some stuff .
I did a Hard reboot and tried to test on some filmon streams but still no joy .
Ok uninstalled Tsmedia then tried to install from a .ipk file and not through tspanel . It would not install .
It looks like im missing gst-plugins-bad-mms and gst-plugins-ugly-asf
I tried to install these from newnigma2 feeds/mips32el but i get an error
Cannot satisfy the following dependencies libmms0(>=0.6.2)* and libgstriff-0.10-0blathblathblathblath it goes on forever .
What do i try now ? Do i look for these lib files ????

I know that it`s a sat receiver and not an all singing and dancing media player . But my problem was that these plugins worked before, until i started playing about . So i know i buggered something :)
Ten Below i never thought of doing something so simple as reinstalling Tsmedia . I was looking at gst-plugins but was a bit wary of installing -bad- versions .
I`ll give it a try .

So i`m still not getting anywhere .
Streams from iptv sources do not work (filmon ect) . But i did find if i was streaming from a host and the file format was .avi IT WORKED .
But Flv sources did not seem to work .
Anyone with a guess of what would be up ? Maybe i`m missing some gstreamer plugins or something ?

I think i have managed to delete or break something .
Online streaming from various plugins no longer work . Like Tsmedia,bbciplayer,Ondemand ect.
But i can still stream from Youtube .
For example . Tsmedia/IPTV Feeds/hbo movies .(i have updated the streams)
I get no crash or error but no streaming video . Nothing until a press exit .
I have only just got my first linux sat box and am still trying to get my head around this different world . Been playing with xbmc for the last few years .
Been searching around and think it might be a problem with gstreamer but i really have no idea . I was installing and deleting lots of stuff , probably deleted something i shouldn't have .
Any help would be great
