just one thing i've noticed does it matter about the folders name i.e. mine says vu+duo and yours vuplus

Having trouble flashing the bootloader to my vu, i unzipped the file and i have a folder vu+duo do i add the folder to my flash drive as it is or do i have to rename the folder. Is there anyway i can check that its been flashed successfully.

thanks glen thats the way i was trying to do it, use the network way not the port way which takes over an hour to flash.

trying to flash a new image to my dm when connected to dreamup cant connect to the box it says

box is in serial HTTP mode

what does this mean

My usb was mounted in the device manager remounted it again and got the crash log again is time for a new image

My DM800 clone has not downloaded the epg for the last two days, but if i try and manually i keep gettinga green screen with crash log on it and the box will restart within ten seconds.

I'm using crosspeg to download the epg, can anyone explain why this happens and is it the box or image why i have no epg.

Removed the usb stick and rebooted the box and it came back on and seems to be ok, while we are on about a new image is there a dream elite black hole 1.33 phoenix edition for the vu.

Don't know what i've done but my vu seems to be stuck on the starting enigme 11 page with the icon spinning in the top left corner, i've tried rebooting but wont go past this stage.

I'm having the same problem lost 50% yesterday and now i've nothing today, i'm using the vu harddrive the hrddrive is mounted in the devices it is also setup in the crosspeg config.

All i can think of is ending up in the local A/E, my son lives next door to me and he's got the same problem couple of fta but no *** channels and he's got signal strength on his s** hd box.

Don't worry about any pictures my wife already got the camera out and a comment of i'm not missing this for the world.

Might as well i'm going up the ladder anyway.

There is no snow just ice on the dish, used my s** hd box to check the signal and quality strength but there nothing. Looks like its ladder time for yours truely.
