Not working on VU Solo2 running Open Black hole - no errors just no plugin - tried force install - can see the folder via FTP any ideas to try
You wont find it in plugins , its under service searching

ive just downloaded kodi direct, it dont look like normal kodi, ive looked on the plugin under kodi but cannot see the kodi plugin
You dont want to install kodi direct , its kodi launcher your after think its called vuplus kodi or something similar , if its not in your download feeds then update your image
i've got it installed on the latest openatv image,
Install areswizard by going to file manager and adding the link http://areswizard.co.uk,
you dont need to use areswizard but it has some nice kodi builds you can try , the pulse builds look good -

Hi all,
Installed Kodi on my Solo2 and just wanted to check something.
Kodi on the solo2 appears tobe just a drop down menu, no graphics etc.
Is this correct, because I was expecting something more like this
Is this correct, or am I missing something like a skin etc?

It should look like that , then install arswizard and choose the build you would like to instal,
your actually wanting to install kodi launcher -

I had the same problem recently with a dm800se , 100% signal and no picture , first thought was tuner but how could it be ,
turned out that for some reason the tuner connection where tuner plugs into board has somehow become loose,
so I wiggled it about till I was getting good reception the tightened it up so it doesnt move again ,and I'm
not going near it again unless I really have to -

I've got a problem installing this on Openpli 4.0 dm800se ,
I tried abu baniaz's method and got an error regarding DECIMAL,
I then tried chhertz's method ,and I can get the small icons in the middle of the screen ,
but when I replace the OnDemand folder in Extensions with chhertz's Ondemand folder , ondeman stops working
completely and gives an error about init_.pyo -
Fix doesnt work now anyway 1channel.occupy has been banned

Damn you Black hole Lol, on the latest version now with only 5 plugins installed , tspanel,tsmedia,multiquick button,ondemand and cooltv guide and its still doing it , think I may have to revert back to Vix

Want update my image but I have four others installed in meoboot , how do back up the meoboot images,
Could I just backup everything on the usb stick , install meoboot again on the new image and transfer all the backup files across -
Flash bh 2.0.7.1 then online update to 2.0.7.2. Use blackhole speedup to get rid of unwanted stuff that you don't need and if your not using a solo2 or duo2 then swap file needed to improve performance
I'll give this a go once I get time

I've tried fresh installs of 2.0.6 and 2.0.7 and after some time they both become unresponsive and I have to restart box,
thought it was maybe one of the plugins I was using so I used a blackhole backup image from here and it went great for a while but now doing the same -

i'm using BH 2.0.7 myself on a solo2 and have had no problems whatsoever, running very stable for me. How many plugins etc are you using? do you have a swap file setup?
No dont have that , have a couple of images on meoboot and also use the teleportation feature ,I also dont have that many plugins installed on blackhole home, I'll just reflash 2.0.7 then and see how it goes

Has anyone who went from blackhole 2.0.7 from 2.0.6 reverted back , I'm finding on 2.0.7 that quite a lot of the time the remote becomes unresponsive and I get the working animation in the top left of screen just spinning for ages till I restart box, when I get time I'm going to reflash but before I do is 2.0.6 any more stable

after you have installed v5
downloaded script-modules.v2 from post #5 http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=33813
un-zip it
open script-modules.v2 folder
selected all 16 script-modules folders
ftp all 16 into /usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extentions/XBMCAddons
then changed atts to 755
then exit ftp and pc
open xmbc plugin on receiver
go to addons select - install addons (install all or your selection)
now i ran each one eg 1 channel etc then wrote down what script-modules was required (i had to add 4 script-modules)
exit and back to last menu
go to install script-modules next and install your required script-modules
exit when your install is complete
restart receiver
hope this helps
fozDont see any script modules in that post ,only an ipk file and when thats extracted theres no script modules folder
