    Hi there everyone.
    Can someone show me how to make picons.
    I have been downloading some picons from:baffle: Lyngsat by right clicking on a picon and saving it to my desktop.
    I have then changed the size of each picon to 60x100 pixels. Then I have changed the file to a png file.
    Lastly; I have renamed the picons according to the reference number of the station.
    Sadly; My picons do not appear. I think I am not doing everything right. I am using the software from my
    Linux operating system. (called Krita) to make these changes.
    Can anyone help.

  • Wireless Keyboard

    Hi there folks.
    Can anyone tell me if I can use a wireless keyboard on the latest
    VTI 6.0.0. And if so how do I get it to work. I inserted the ir usb at the front
    but nothing happend.


    Also: I have downloaded an ipk file for on demand. But it will not install. Is
    there a different ipk for each image. Or is this ipk that I downloaded not compatible
    with the latest VTI image.


    And also; Is it possible to access the internet on my box. Like google etc.

  • Need help with Swap File on VTI 6.0.0 Vu+DUO

    Hello there folks.
    Can anyone tell me if I create a swap file using the 4gig usb stick where I keep my picons.
    Will I be able to transfer some of my folders over to the swap file in order to make more
    room for software.
    I am using latest VTI 6.0.0 on my VU+duo. If this is possible can you tell me what
    files can be transfered without knakering my system.

  • wrong service reference number with each channel

    I have gone back to the latest VTI image. v6.0.0
    The one problem with this image with me is that when I install tv channels I am getting the wrong
    service reference number with each channel. I have tried to ask for support for this problem but have had no replies.
    This image is very good and I would like to keep using it. But in order to install picons I have to change every channels
    service reference number in the picons. Part of the number on all of the channels for Astra 28.2 east is 11C000_0_0
    but the letter C is wrong. It should be the letter A.
    This does not happen on other images. I have tried most of them. It also does not happen if I install Blackhole then meoboot then
    VTI. All is ok then. But I would prefare to install just VTI with the correct service reference numbers.
    Have you got any idea why this is happening to me. I have tried both tuners in my VU+duo.
    I hope you can help me sort this problem out.
    Also; Is it possible to add swap file. I have a 4gig usb stick.

    Hi master G
    I have tried all of the cccam files today.
    None of them will install. Message comes back on all of them that files not found. Cannot install.
    I have installed into temp. And then used my remote to install. No luck.

  • Do you know how to activate picons in blackhole

    Hi there master G
    I have managed to get my cccam to work with the cam already installed in blackhole.
    But it freezes a lot more (every 5 seconds). Must be where I got my line from. Server must be over subscribed.
    Do you know how to activate picons in blackhole. I have downloaded them in the picons downloades section.
    But they are not appearing. I have sets of picons that I have got from various sites. So if you cannot help me
    with activating the blackhole ones then I will filezilla my lot into the system.

  • Which cccam for BlackHole 2.x.x images

    Hi folks.
    I am trying out the Blackhole backup image. Looks good.
    Can anyone please tell me which version of cccam to install.
    I have tried to install the same version that I use on VTI but
    the server comes back as not found.
    I can find the cccam files here on the site. I have tried a couple
    but they will not install.
    Also will I be able to still use the same confiuration file that I
    found on here to insert my lines in.

  • Wrong reference service numbers in latest VTI image

    Hi everyone.


    Can someone help me sort out a problem I have with the latest VTI 6.0.0 image.
    When I have downloaded the channels for Astra 28.2 east; All of the channels have
    the wrong service reference number.


    If you can see; This is the reference number for ITV HD :- 1:0:19:2F62:7F4:2:11A0000:0:0:0


    But when I download channels vith VTI the number is 1:0:19:2F62:7F4:2:11C0000:0:0:0


    As you can see the letter A has now become the letter C. This is the same for ALL channels.


    If I install the latest Blackhole image and then use Meoboot to further install VTI as well;
    Then the service reference numbers are correct on the VTI image and I am able to download and install picons.
    Can anyone explain to me why I cannot install VTI with the correct service reference numbers? Without having
    to first install another image like Blackhole, then meoboot and then VTI image?
    I have installed the VTI image and then had to change all of the letter A's to the letter C in all of my picons.
    But this is only good if I do not want to update my picons. But I would like to install Rat's picon and channel updater.

    Please could you help me with Rat's picon install?
    I know how to ftp with filezilla; But I have not got a clue on the putty software.
    Is there another software to send the command to my box?
    I am using both linux and windows 7 operating systems.
    If you could give me the name of the software to use for windows 7 and how to use it.

    When I downloaded several packs of picons; All of them had the right coding for them except for 1 on each picon.
    Please let me give you an example. (All picons for 28.2 Astra).


    Example:- Take the channel Dave on S*Y 28.2 degrees east. The service reference number for this channel is:- 1_0_1_1DC4_7DF_2_11C0000_0_0
    But on all of the picon sets I have downloaded; The service reference number differs for this channel:- 1_0_1_1DC4_7DF_2_11A0000_0_0


    Can you explain to me why I have had to change the letter A to a letter C

    Hi there folks.
    Can anyone tell me how I may be able to re-size my picons.
    Now I have got them to load and work in the latest VTI image; There is
    a WIDTH gap at both sides of each picon. I would like to fill this gap up if possible.
    Also; As I have stated in a previous post (No answers yet)? Why do I have to change each of
    my picons service reference numbers to get them to load?

    Hi there everyone who has tried to help me install picons to my system.
    I have found out the problem and solved it.
    On all of the sets of picons that I have downloaded; The service reference number has to be changed on all of them.
    I will give you an example of what I mean.

    Can anyone comment on why the service reference number on each picon is different to to the actual channel reference number?
    I cannot understand why the the service reference numbers have to be changed. But I am glad that I have things working now.
    I have a lot of work to do in order to have my picons display. But who cares. Everything is good (For the time being).
