  • Openpli from hard drive

    Does anybody know if openpli can be run from the hard drive like nebula can?


    If so are there any instructions?


    Got it running from pen/USB drive no problem but just wondered if the above was possible

    swapped image to openpli image
    tsmedia installs fine but when I click to play anything I just get a blank screen with no time or anything


    is there some dependencies that need installing as well?

    I tried a file this afternoon in the same way as mentioned above and it stopped the box booting and have been sorting it back out all evening!


    Just a shame as it is a great plugin


    It must only work on the Pli images unless someone can figure it out

  • Serious problems with box

    Try running the image it from the hard drive itself
    It runs much sweeter and the remote control response it also better
    All you need to do is make a full backup of the image from blue panel partition the drive and use sda1 as 1gb ext3
    The rest as gdd space
    Then boot up from USB and from blue panel again install the image to sda1 and reboot box press the up button on front panel until you see hdd1 and press ok and that it


    There is a proper detailed guide somewhere when I find it I will post it up


    It tends to get rid of the memory/ram issue and also the green screens

    If you use rats auto updater in conjunction with the auto bouquet updater when rats updater updates will the auto bouquet list change with this?
    As I'm sure when I manually updated my rats bouquet list the auto bouquet list changed as well

    Yes that's what bad magic number means I am also using nebula zero
    I was getting my hopes up as this is the only plugin other than essentials like auto timer and stuff that I really want


    Maybe faza posted the wrong version? As I see he's based in Poland so he may be more in the know that the rest of us or maybe it will only work on the Pli or Hyperion images


    I was going to on to ask but being new I don't have enough posts to pm yet

  • nbox problems help please

    hi im new on the forum and hoping somebody can help


    I am a member of sataid forums and purchased my nbox from euro trans (comet24) and am on my second replacement nbox due to hardware failure and have about had enough of it


    I now have 2 problems with my current nbox which comet24 the main man seems to have stopped answering messages and disappeared or maybe just wont reply to me :-/


    first problem: VFD display has gone nuts all it shows is lit up square boxes all the way across the display. this wasn't such a major problem unless you need to reflash the box or anything which is impossible because the display will not display anything apart from these boxes.


    second problem: now all my premium HD channels do not work correctly after a minute or so the go all jittery and it looks like they are in slow motion and not watchable. I have ruled out server issues as I have a dm800se and that works with them fine, so I know it is something to do with the nbox. I initially thought the image could have somehow got corrupt and would need a re flash to freshen things up but because on the first problem above it is not possible to do.


    The VFD is not dead (as in nothing on the display) it lights up like a Christmas tree with just squares . I have tried the usual unplugging box etc but still have no joy


    I have attached a picture of the vfd display from the nbox in the hope somebody can give me hand in sorting this out
