It simply seems that oscam is not running, if I go in to putty and put "killall -9 oscam", it returns "no process found".

Hi
Really stumped trying to update oscam for linux server (32 bit) running oscam/cccam with smargo reader.
I have tried various new binary oscam files. Latest is "oscam-svn8817-x86_64-pc-linux-webif-libusb-ssl-Distribution.tar.gz", dated today.
My oscam is located in /emu/oscam directory, I rename oscam file to "old oscam", ftp new oscam to this directory using winscp and then using putty, chmod 755 the new file. I then reboot the server and on every occassion I cannot connect to oscam via webif, cccam is still connected to clients but I have always to revert to old version (1.20 unstable version 6059) and I'm up and running again for a couple of hours before this oscam cannot read card. Went in to putty and tried "oscam -b" and only got command not found.
Really lost as to what to try next.
Thanks -

Hi
Uploaded new oscam version to emu/oscam directory, renamed original "oscam" to "old oscam" and chmod 755 the new version. Whatever I did I seemed to have disconnected all friends. I reverted back to original "oscam" but friends still disconnected. Any help appreciated. -
Many thanks
Will try it in the morning and report back. -

Have found the file, just worried it mentions "_64-pc" while my linux is a 32 bit.
Thanks -
Hi
Could someone point in in direction of recent oscam version, using oscam 1.20 unstable version 6059 on 32 bit debian server. Lots of files but unsure which to download.
Thanks -
Thanks
I will have a go tomorrow, my server runs 24/7 and there had been no problems, not sure why this has just started recently, I have made no changes to the server. I don't really know if I have power management options on my server. Far from an expert as you can see but struggling along.
Thanks for the help. -
Hi thatfellow
Using Debian squeeze 6.0.6, not sure what you mean by power save options?

Thanks all
I am connecting oscam to cccam with n line. Have not heard of connecting via oscam's built in cccam, I assume this is contained within a newer version of oscam. I will do a bit of reading and try the cccam debug and report back later tonight.
Again thanks for the elp. -
Cheers Master
I think I can update oscam ok, but what do you mean by "debug cccam"?
Cheers -
Debian server running cccam 2.13 and oscam 1.20 unstable version 6059. Running fine for months but now getting error messages and clients change to "nok" . A reboot seems to cure the problem for a few hours until the same thing happens. Entitlements are up to 1/9/13. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or might know what to try.
Cheers -
Just checked with my setup and all looks similar except I have ecmwhitelist in my oscam.server.
