  • Need help sharing 2 boxws internal hard drives

    Guys


    i need a bit of help as i am pulling my hair out (whats left of it).


    i have a VU+ solo 2 running Black hole image 2.1.5 and i have my DM800 also running a version of 2.1.5.


    the problem i am having is that from DM 800 -> VU+ solo 2 i cannot use the solo2's internal hard to view on the dm800 which i have in my bedroom, i can detect it and says mount was successful but it just has a red x against it under network browser. i can view VU+ Solo 2 -> DM800 no problem, and it works fine when i run Open pli on the DM800, (which i don't like to have on it hence trying to use blackhole image).


    i know the image is not made for the DM800, but everytihng else runs fine but not the networking box to box.


    if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

  • Blackhole images for genuine DM800HD

    Guys


    I have noticed there are Black Hole images for the cloned DM800HD but i was wondering if there are any about for the genuine box.


    i have had a version before i think it was 2.14, which worked fine, i only had to change it as i could not get my DM800HD and my VU+ solo 2 running BH 2.1.5, network mounted so i could watch movies from one box to the other.


    i just wanted to see if i could try it again and possibly have XBMC running.

  • help needed setting up.

    I need some help, a friend of mine has asked me to get him setup with a Wetek play for using with UK cable


    I thought no problem I will gladly help and get my hands on one of these new boxes to play about with.


    I am normally into playing with cable & sat boxes over the years but this is all new to me.


    I fist off tried to get the box to scan for channels using wetek theater following a couple of guides but no joy.


    The box did not have a couple of different settings and I could not enter my local Net ID.


    Then I got a gift to to see channels and tried to enter using oscam I enter details but does not connect.


    I have now got hold of and sd card and loaded openatv 5.0, I have managed to scan the Dvb-c tuner for my net id which has found over 600 channels yet some FTA from other regions ie BBC 1 NI or Wales do not clear which is fine but why are they there if I selected my Net ID.


    I have installed oscam also on openatv but still I'm not sure it is connecting.


    Big problem is I have not got a cable connection at my house, so when I couldn't get it working in his house after scanning for channels I have brought it back home to setup the server but obviously do not know what oscam info should say , mine is saying unknown but is in green text.


    I know there is another option of openelec and tvheadend but I have not even dared to go down that route.


    I do have to say though this box has lots of potential and running enigma 2 openatv looks and feels good to use, it's just getting used to oscam settings as I have never used it before.


    If anyone can help me get this box working it would be most appreciated as I am now going into day 3

  • loaded clone image on original dm800hd

    i have loaded blackhole 2.16 from original image section on my original dm800HD and now i get an error message on the oled saying


    sim201 team, www.dm800sim2,com, ->error, *ERR01: NO CA FOUND


    this was in the original image section and now i can't load anything else up what can i do.


    i have tried a tool by yassinov but get to a screen shown serial mode and an ip address of 192.168.1.77


    attempted loading a new image and 84 bootloader but no joy.
