Sensible post mate, too many people getting involved without knowing or understanding what they're getting into. Although I do think that anyone that bought a box and gift from eBay would be stupid enough to travel 400 miles there and back again to recover their £100.

So say I bought a F5 box from ebay with a free "gift" last month but now the "gift" no longer works but the box that I paid for is working. What can I do?
A, Contacting ebay won't work because the box is what I paid for.
B, Contact the police and explain that I was illegally obtaining pay tv but now some of the channels don't work.
C, Contact Beefy's mate who will track the guy down for me. I'll then go round to his place and kick the ****e out of him and get myself in trouble with the law. How would I explain how I tracked him down? Oh Beefy and his mate got his address for me. Beefy and his mate are now in serious trouble with the police, far more trouble than the payserver.
Anyone that bought a box from ebay with a free gift knew what they were doing and they should also have been aware of the risks.
I have no sympathy for anyone that paid for a box of ebay with a free gift.

haha amazing.My m8 does serious doxing.If you dont know what doxing is,its finding out peoples real identity online through really advanced methods.Hes seeing a big amount of people who have purchased these boxes with gifts coming to him already and thats only with some hd channels gone.Looking to find out the real identity of people on ebay and forums etc.wait till the full thing goes.hes waiting in the wings to go onto all these satellite forums and offer his service to anyone who bought one and the seller dissapeared.hes just gonna charge a couple of quid each and will make a fortune.If someone on ebay or that think they used a fake name etc and will be ok then think again.When you visit a site you leave a footprint and his job is tracing that footprint back to you and getting your real details.All i can say is i hope you kept the money you made haha

A new auction has just appeared claiming to have a patch inside (no 999x errors and HD channels viewing).
Starting price is really crazy ! (2.500 €)What kind of idiot puts something like that on ebay? He should have his ass kicked.
I'm sure *** Italia will be keeping an eye on this listing, if not bidding on it to see how they have "patched" the box. Flaming dickheads!

Yes I found at least 3 on Italian eBay all marked patched and they have sold a lot of them
My Italian isn't great but I checked all Thomson dsi dh310 boxes on Italian ebay and none of them claimed to be patched.

They're still making too much money from the extra HD subscriptions to standardise them. The sd channels will be broadcast for a while yet.

After checking my own box, which I scanned 28.2 on this week, I can't find it. I've also googled the frequency and found a list of all utv/itv channels and their frequencies with no mention of utv+1. Very strange!

I've tried 4.9 beta 6. When trying to open solarmovie my box crashes, I've attached a crash log.

I've tried lots images on different models of DMM boxes in the past. When I bought a quad the first image I flashed was vix, It's been on it ever since, I've no need to even try another teams image as the vix one has everything I need and runs very smoothly.

I've bricked a giga quad, I was updatng the bootloader and it just cut out after a few seconds and now it won't boot, its showing only a single red light.
I've done a lot of searching but can't get any info on how to solve it. Does anyone know where I can find a tut for fixing it?
