What image are you using now?

If you can afford it go for the duo2, a good alternative is the solo2 though. You won't be disappointed with either buddy.

Hello buddy,
the version of cccam that you have downloaded from here will be a ipk file, easiest way to install this is to use a FTP program (filezilla/dcc etc etc) to place the ipk file into the "tmp" folder on your duo2. Once you have placed the ipk in the tmp folder get your duo2 remote and press the green button and then the yellow, you will see a option to install local extension, go in here and select install cccam file. Once the installation has finished then restart enigma2. When your duo restarts press the blue button and then use the left/right arrows to select cccam, then press the ok button, cccam will start then. The cccam cfg file should be place in the "etc" folder by ftp, if you make any changes then restart the cam.

Can you tell us which image you have installed buddy?

If it is a port forwarding problem rami have a look at this guide: http://portforward.com/english…me_Hub_4/defaultguide.htm
Also if you want to assign a ip addy to each device that it will always use, from memory you go into advanced settings and select home network, in here you should each device connected to your homehub, you can then click on a check box to make the the ip addy that is assigned to it static.
-
ok homehub 4, what is it you are not able to configure??
-
What version is it rami??? If it's a homehub we need to know if it's a 3/4 or 5 please.
-
then forward the corrected version

Have you tried using a different brand of usb stick to try and flash the receiver??? Nothing else should be connected to any of the usb ports when flashing and you should be using the front usb port to flash a new image.
-
You would be third buddy lol, another member is ahead of you, but if they don't want it certainly you can have it. beer10

Homehub 5 is now available at a discount if your a BT customer, this had the fibre modem built in. It's also dual channel, well worth a look bud.
-
Hello buddy, here's my answers to your questions...
1, Images are the basically the user interface for which you will use to control/operate the duo2. Different teams write images for this type of receiver. blackhole/vti/Vix etc etc
2, not that I know of
3, Typically they come with one dvb s2 twin tuner. Any extra's you usually have to pay for.
4, openpli is a image.
5, tuners & hdd are plug & play
6,usb flashdrive is used to flash the box when adding or changing a image, you can also leave it connected to the box for picons/epg data etc
7, these are lines that allow you to connect to a server
8, not sure, but what harm would it do to hang onto them...
9,
10, That's up to you bud, the duo2 is a top end receiver. there are other alternatives (cheaper ones/different models from the vu range)
11, yes
12, Our site sponsors price is as good as I could find....

There is another fix for this, un-install IE version 11 and windows will automatically revert back to IE10, you can then click on the setting icon and select "about internet explorer" in here un-check install new versions automatically. This problem only occurs when your using IE11 .
-
Ill have it bud if you still got it . pm me and also your ***pe user please.
Yes still have it, i am out & about at the min, will pm you later with details, cheers

The line your pasting into telnet was only a example, to install this plug you must have the opkg update first, paste the line I posted in the previous post into telnet and this will work.
