  • Dream-Elite Extra for Dream-Elite Image 7.1 with Dream-Elite Panel for DM ONE / DM TWO

    Hello all, Has anyone tested this, I am using the Dream-Elite Image 7.1

    with the DExtra on this page on a dreamtwo and I can not get any cams working.


    I am not a complete idiot know where the config files go, and have installed

    softcam manager and I can see the cams and have started the cams one at a time

    and tested, nothing is clearing.


    Has anyone else had trouble getting a cam working that could help please. , Thanks.

    Thanks for your reply's and info, and thanks for moving my post to the right place, sorry about that.

    I understand what your saying KiddaC but that means I will have to leave the tv on all the time.


    I have just ordered one of theses in the picture in the link, I think is will do the job as I have the input socket on my system.

    Hello all, Is it possible to play music from an iPhone to my dreambox 900

    ether with the USB cable or Bluetooth, I do have a connection with my phone

    and Bluetooth on my dreambox but I don't no if there are any apps to play music.


    Its just that my main sound system is all connected to my dreambox and tv

    Thanks for all your reply's and advice, I have finally after a lot of messing around

    got it all working, I now have a triple boot windows 10 and Ubuntu and Linux mint.

    I do find that Linux mint looks and feels better than Ubuntu.


    Now for the hard part making deb files, I still need to do a bit of reading for this.

    Hell all, hope everyone is ok in these worrying times.


    I know this is no an OS forum but wanted to make a .deb file.


    I need a little advice I am setting up a dual boot windows 10 and a Linux system

    I have been thinking of installing Linux Ubuntu as a second boot OS.


    Is this a good one to use or could you recommend another Linux OS, what's the best one ?

    Thanks masoodbutt, I will give this a try tonight when the wife's gone to bed, I am not allowed

    to mess around with the dreambox in the daytime when she is trying to watch tv lol.


    I don't have a movie folder in media>ba, but will try installing an older version.

    Hello all, I have a strange booting problem DM900UHD

    I am running DreamElite 6.0 with the latest barryallen. all seems to be ok on images that use deb files

    but no images work that use IPK files none at all.


    OpenATV-v6.4 not loading

    Openesi-V9.0 not loading

    OpenHDF-v6.5 not loading

    Openpli-v6.2 not loading


    the below images all work


    Demonisat-v9.0

    Gemini-Project4.0

    Merlin

    Newnigma2

    Power-Sat-v1.4

    PurE2-v6.3

    SatLodge-v1.1


    Whats have I done wrong? is where anything I need to instal on the flash, thanks for any help and info on this.

    Thanks for your reply Panda, I have tested this adding Spanish as the second audio track and English as the first

    I did do a reboot on the dreambox after and its still the same. It would not be so bad if it kept the selected qaa

    but it just keeps changing back to Spanish within 5 minutes of changing to qaa with the audio button.


    Maybe I should try another image, I have had dreambox's for over 15 years now and never had this problem

    its a clean install just last week I installed the image so I dont think its corrupted anywhere.

    I think TrackAutoselect could do with an update.

    Hello all, I am having problems with TrackAutoselect on a dm900uhd gp4

    its installed and working, my problem is qaa not being in the language options.

    on 19e the M channels I press the audio button and select qaa so I can watch

    with English sound but after 4 or 5 minutes it changes back to its default

    sound track without me doing anything.


    Is it possible to add qaa to the language selection in TrackAutoselect

    is there a file I could edit? or is there another plugin I could use.

    Hello all, could anyone tell me where I can download the kernel module hid files in IPK format

    its a bit of a pain going in to packet management every time I install an image.


    Its mainly the logitech ones I wanted for my keyboard.


    I have tried this in dcc but nothing happens

    opkg install kernel-module-hid-logitech

    opkg install kernel-module-hid-logitech-dj


    I would really like the files, thank you.

  • updating a dreambox at a different address

    Hello I need a little info on updating a dreambox at a different address

    its my dads dreambox, he is getting on a bit and don't really no what hes doing.

    He lives almost 150 miles away, he needs his oscam server and his channel list updated


    What would be the best and easiest way to do this.


    I have been thinking of trying to make like a secret-feed.conf and getting a website for it

    for the files to be uploaded.


    or is there an easier way, could I just do it by using an ftp program if I know the IPs
