  • DCC connection to AA2

    Hi
    this post is probably in the wrong place but i was hoping someone could help
    i've loaded different images onto my AA2 (pkt hyperion, championc openatv 5.1 & 4.2). they load fine and play the FTA channels
    when i try to connect to replace the oscam.server files i can connect with DCC but dont see the files on the AA2 - see image below - the FTP is connected (openatv 4.2 logged in with "root" and blank password)

    filezilla can establish a connection but cant connect

    i tried editing with oscam but this is beyond my abilities - i read a few posts but didnt understand what to do

    i had connected to the AA2 using DCC before and was able to change the oscam.server on the openatv 4.2 image. the only things that have changed sicne then are that i have a win10 desktop pc on the network and the router has been changed to BT home hub 5 (previously hh4)

  • SOS - Alien2 E2 - C Line problem (I think)

    I was hoping for some help or advice. I have an amiko alien 2 with enigma 2.
    I was running champions open atv 4.2 posted on this forum back in Dec 14. things were all running well until last week when I started getting a lot of freezing & stalling on live tv


    I upgraded to robijay’s open atv 5.1 to see if this would help but then lost all channels except free to air


    I reverted back to champ's open atv 4.2, converted the ccam.cfg file containing the clines to an oscam.server then used DCC to drop the oscam.server file into the same place as before, set attributes to 755 but sill I only got free to air


    I then went to the image I had before (being champions) arp image from Jan 14. I've tried converting 3 different ccam.cfg files (3 different set of c line) to oscam.server, used DCC to drop into var/keys/oscam.server then changed the attributes to 755
    but with all I'm only getting free to air channels


    I'm using ccam2oscam.exe to convert ccam.cfg files containing the c lines into an oscam.server file to FTP to the alien 2 via DCC (dreambox control centre)


    I’m now lost for any clue to whats wrong. Any suggestions on how to fix would be much appreciated

    has anyone tried 5.1?> are feeling good / bad / indifferent?


    do the oscam files go in usual place? user > keys > oscam.server and change attributes to 755?

  • Fresh Pots PKT Hyperion v4 (ROI setup)

    has anyone else found this image to hang for several seconds from time to time?


    also, I'm streaming across to a raspberry pi using the vu+/enigma pvr addon to xbmc (openelec gotham) running on the pi. the sound and picture on the pi don't always sync up and the sound an be several seconds ahead of the image. has anyone else encountered this? any idea for solutions?

  • DP4's PKT Hyperion v4 backup for Amiko Alien 2

    I was running champioc's open arp image and although it was running fine I thought I'd try this one
    using DCC I FTP the oscam.server file into var/keys on the AA2 and then changed the attributes to 755.
    I rebooted the box a few times and ran the autobouquets plugin but only have FTA channels.
    any suggestions on how to full channel listing working again?

  • Champions OpenATV 4.2 Based Image

    I have xbmc running on a raspberry pi in another room.
    A pvr add-on for xbmc called vu+/enigma allows you to enter the ip address and log in details for the amiko alien2 so i can watch the alien2 in a second room. Gets epg & ability to switch channels etc. Great add-on if I can get it to work properly.
    I'm currently running championc's open arp image from last Christmas and think this might be what's stopping the video stream from alien2 to raspberry pi . So I'm in the hunt for a new alien2 image.

  • Champions HD Judder Fixed OpenAR-P Based Image [Updated]

    I've had this image for a while and whilst it runs great I've always had quite a bit of pixilation
    is there anyway to see if this is from the stb or if its signal quality from the dish?
    I have SNR of around 70% - 73% and BER of 0 so I assume it should be ok??


    has anyone any suggestions for things to check to cut out the pixilation & stuttering?

    I've been using champions ar-p image http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=45576, which I installed on the amiko alien 2 last Jan
    Its been running pretty well occasional judder. most of which I put down to weather - the dish is mounted to a post in garden in order to get line of sight with sat.
    I got TS media installed last night thanks to master g above
    today I have noticed that all sly HD channels are gone and the remaining channels have a lot of judder. weather is calm so it shouldn't be affecting dish
    are the sat channels likely to be affected by TS media plugin? I wouldnt have thought so but I really don't know much about this

    yeah it works I just wanted to have the latest update in case it helped with providing any stream to help get around bt blocking movie4k etc

    I extracted the files and FTP across both folders (TSmedia & TSmedia_m3u) to the STB at usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions
    when I try open TS media and go to update it says version 7 is available but every time I select green button to update the STB crashes and goes top green screen to reboot
    any ideas?

  • Download is .php instead of .ipk

    I have an amiko alien 2 with champions ar-p enigma 2 image
    I'm trying to get ts media or possibly xbmc installed
    when I click on the enigma2-plugin-extensions-tsmedia_6.8_sh4.ipk above my pc only seems to download it as a php file. I cant seem to download it as a ipk


    also, I downloaded the zip file above for 6.6 and extracted this to get the ipk file but when I tried to install via dcc I got 813428b89666a8dc.png
    the tsmedia wasn't installed after I rebooted the box
    any help would be much appreciated
