try to use an HDMU image

I do not know if it's me or are you out of the chorus to have the defective box. My Amiko Alien shd 8900 carrying HDMU runs quietly. I have connected both the scart to video transmitter and hdmi on TV and i set the scart socket, I also see the TV connected to the HDMI (but with the quality of the scart)

i don't understand what image have you in your box but...in setting you must turn on autostart for softcam when turn on or restart the box, control this parameter. ( in hdmu for example are : green button for tun on and blue button for autostar )

internet from image work only if you can enter and browse the plugin menu. Only in this case your internet (and network) work.

this is my experience with mgcamd: I managed to get it to work for about 10 minutes after the picture would freeze all the time and there was no way to make it work. I solved it by installing Oscam on a HDMU 11482 (actually works well but on subsequent ones I have problems with the signal from the dish)

I would like to discuss with you a strange feeling I have when I install a image on my box or the various plugin:
I own an alien Amiko SHD-8900, the version with the buttons behind the door.
At the time I installed a HDMU 11482 , a skin , vhannibal of April 13 , 8523 oscam (I think this is the version ) and this setup works well.
What I immediately noticed is that by installing the latest version of the HDMU , when installation is finished I had a significant lowering of the signal, which is why I went back to 11482 , and every time I added a piece by satfinder to go check out what was the signal and what I have seen is that by installing the picons the signal is lowered ( from 80% down to 30%) so I have not installed .

Some of you would know tell me the reason? The picons are not essential but would like to understand what happens when I install something in the box and why do I have so great a loss of signal ( the coach has done the necessary checks on the satellite dish and cable on them and everything is ok )

Hello everyone, yesterday I bought a new hard disk to 1TB of toshiba but can not format it from dec (the usb is 3.0). I installed the latest HDMU and even if the hard drive is recognized when I try to format it after a while I get the error message: "timeout elapsed"

someone can help me?

ok problem solved with mgcamd. Meanwhile I have updated to the latest HDMU because the one I had I crashed when I tried to download a plugin, now all ok.

i've got a amiko alien shd-8900 whith hmdu 1667 firmware onboard.
I would like to connect with a cccam server (other user have a dreambox 500 clone with cccam 2.3) using Gline (yes, not a Cline). I try to read the tutorial section but i don't understand what i must do for configure my dec whith this softcam and connect it with this server.

Because sameone tell me to use mgcamd and not cccam, cccam after 5 minutes freeze and i must continusly restart, and in menu plugin i don't have cccam to download, what do you suggest?

so...i install mgcamd in hdmu firmware from plugin menu (so the dec is connected to internet)
from telnet i open the file mg_cfg for set G in 32 but i find this parameter so i don't modify anything
after i put cline in cccam.list but i see that the server (and ather users) use a Gline and not a Cline (they have a dreambox 500 clone and use cccam 2.3; also my father and they see everything)

hi i try to write also in mgcamd section, thuis is my problem :
I would like to watch sat tv with cardsharing system. Should I use a Cline but doing some tests I could not make it work. Even my father sees the tv with this system, but he has a simple clone dreambox 500 with cccam 2.3 and it all works. Connecting my instead of his with his data failed to see anything.
Can anyone help me please? I would not be wrong but does not use a Cline but Gline, is it possible?? when i install mgcamd ( 1.35 version ) i find into the config file G 32....it's possibile???
