  • Problem trying activate a card, the caid change ???

    It card has been work in the original receiver, but when i extract the nor to read the info and find the bk and rsa, i dont solder it again.. This is the reason for im looking for a method to update the card without the original box :( After i get the keys the card work with oscam 1 week, and then the entitlements expires, now im trying to update again the card...


    Now i know is normal that the provider have two caids, i test another card from another provider and i see this when i put a channel:


    2013/10/24 01:29:45 5A96C0 c dvbapi: [ADD PID 0] CAID: 0B00 ECM_PID: 06F9 PROVID: 000000

    I put "P: 0604:000000" and "I: 0B00:000000" in the dvdapi like nano sayed, and work perfect, oscam only request the 0604 caid... (oscam request ECM every second ! But that is another problem..)
    But like in the another card, oscam dont sent any emm, now i think is problem of the EMU in the box...
    I have a ML9700 receiver, unfortunately, I could not install mgcamd, i know is the best way to update a card, only have a old vercion of oscam 1.20 #6402, ccamd 2.3.0, camd3, and a closed source emu in the box, with the last, i can send emm to this second card (caid 0604), but on the 1861, i cant.
    If i can go forward with my problem, i will tell you the news, thanks for the help i really apreciate that !

    This is a different card from telefonica chile, this caid is 1861, oscam detect as is, and when the card are update it worked with that caid and 000000 as ident.
    So i have to leave the box connected and wait for the emm ? In the box and server log, i dont see any sign of EMM... How much can it take ? And some european providers only send emm in one channel ? That is true ? Maybe that is my problem.. Thanks your help guys !

    The ident is the provider of the signal right ? (Im in latinoamerica, so i have to make my own configs adapting you info with these cards, i cant find a config in the forum for example :( ), how can i know the ident of the card ? I think, making a zapping on the box and see what request to oscam, im right ? If that right, my box only request the ident 000000 to the card... When the entliments were update, the card worked perfect, but i dont pay atention to emm, so now have a outdate card....


    I think, my only option is get the original box back and update the card, then, view if oscam can handle the emm of this card...
    I see in the card list of the oscam wiki, some cards only can be update with a patched mgcamd, this is right ?

    Ok fresh news, frist, i put I: 1802:000000 and now the box request only 1861 caid ecm everytime, perfect :)
    But still no EMM send, maybe oscam cant handle the EMM of this card. Can you check my config to see if all correct ?



    Is the config ok ? In the log of the box i cant see any emm...

    Sorry for my english, i mean, for example, when i start oscam, it detect the card as 1861, and if in oscam.server i put "caid=1802" he show "rejected caid, no match reader" is there any way to avoild this and force oscam to use a card using different caid ?

    I think found the problem, telefonica is a provider, that give satelital tv in multiple contry of latino america, but for example, in chile we cant see the peru chanels, or the venezuela channels, only the internationanl and the national of chile.
    I think in different contry he use a different caid for the same signal, because when i select a peru chanel in my box, it request a ECM to oscam with 1802 caid. It can be possible ? So on a international chanel, frist try with the chile card caid (1862), then later try with the peru caid (1802)....
    Is there a way to force oscam to set a different caid to the card ?
    Because, when i change the channel in my box, he ask for a 1862 caid ecm two times, and later 1802 all time...
    Maybe if i can change the 1862 caid to 1802, it start to acept emm...

    Hello Guys, im from Argentina, i have a N3 card from telefonica, and i have problem trying activate it.
    I have a linux server running oscam, all OK. But when my box connect to the server frist show in the log:

    This is because the card isnt active, but later, the caid change from 1861 to 1802.

    And still trying to get a ECM with the 1802 caid... No EMM send...
    What happen ?


    If i change the reader caid to 1802 in the oscam.server setting, i get:

    Is there a card in Europe with this problem ?
