Why not just use WebIf to stream to pc? works just fine witk Windows Mediaplayer or VLC if you want to use that player

Is there any improvement of pic. quality on HD content with a 4K box ?
Because there are very few UHD broadcasts.
I have an UHD TV with a Dreambox 820 could consider updating to 900 series.
4K content of youtube is perfect on the tv.
The answer is both yes and no.
If you have a UHD TV and set your stb to UHD 2160p then you are scaling up the 1080p så picture quality will decrease like when you upscale any picture.
But if you set your stb to 1080p instead and your TV is HD then you probaly might get better quality then a regular HD stb

I have a few freinds and relatives on the other side and my impression is that they dont really use any Enigma2 based system.
The small group of people who are using this recivers are often people from europe living there.
But they use alot of Android IPTV/FTA recivers so my guess is OpenATV with your plugin will be a great hit over there :)

It all depends of what image you are used to. I have both Dreambox and Vu+ and i will say that Vu+ is my choice
Diffrence of OE does not matter OE 2 or OE 2.5.
Support for both are simular only choice of images are smaller for Dreambox.
But skin,plugin and other stuff are about the same Setup and config is also about the same only diffrence is choice of image
Slide in to http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/ and have look the guys over there can help you to get the right one for your purpuse and use.

There are several ways to that.
1. Backup menu and make settings backup
2. Use WebIf and make backup then later upload backup with WebIf
3. Use DreamboxEdit
File Location is etc/enigma2 for ftp backup but first choice is the easy way with Blackhole

Because Team BlackHole is a Vu+ support team only so all there images are for VU+ only and are built on the Vu+ original image.
There are hacked images for Dreambox Clones and some original but not made by the BlackHole team.

For me it looks like you have no config files, at least thats what the install script is saying and without basic config Oscam wont start since it has nothing to work with. Upload your config files and Oscam will start

CI+ mudule is limeted since you cant share any CommonInterface. But you can share,stream channels inside your private network with CI+

I have no problem with Cccam as an local homelan client but as cardsharing server i will allways use Oscam before Cccam.
Why? well cccam protocol has no encryption so it send everything as open text.
Then to setup oscam its really depends on what card system you use if you want to use it as card server.
If you will use it as an regular client its just simple setup of reader as clients.
Add reder and choose cccam if thats your client nown
and in device settings of the readre just type in the ipadress or dyndnds adress to the cardserver with an , followed by portnumber.
ex: 192.168.1.10,1200 or if dyndns: dyndnsadress,1200 where 1200 is the portnumber
and go down to the bottom where you add your username and password then start reader.
Same approche for other system like Newcamd just choose system when adding reader.
For etup of card server there is more complicated. and to help you there we need to now what cardsystem you are using.
But if you go to Oscam support section here at the forum you find planty of info for all setups

Ser at de flyttet pluginet vekk fra Blackhole servern så gjør som nedan beskrivet så finner du det :)
Du skal finne plugin hvis du gjør følgende og har OpenBlackhole, Blackhole image.
1. Trykk på Menu knappen på fjerrkontrollen
2. Velg "Plugin" fra menyen
3. Trykk på rød knapp på fjerrkontrollen
4. Velg "Extension"
5. Der finner du pluginet så er det bare og installere.
Hvis det virker på CD mottakern beror på hvilken mottaker du har. Den må først hva koblet til samme nettverk som din Vu+
Har ikke testet mot noen mottaker da jeg kun har CI+ Modul med kort. Men granny har bekreftet at det virker opp mot SmartTV :)
Men har du CD Og CI+ module så virker den fint i VU+ med image Blackhole/OpenBlackhole OpenATV

Yes i can and will when transfer from beta to regula make online update avalible of Ultimate part but image its self you can update as OpenBlackhole trough
addons manager as usual. You only have to re install the modd after update of image to go back to Ultimate.
The plan is when ever you update your regular OBH Image it will automatic update Ultimate also, and when only Ultimate is avalible
this will show up as message.
But for right now update will be publish as BH Package

This is FHD converted for OpenBH 4 Ultimate/OpenBlackhole all original Code for Vix and ATV are still there so should work on those images also
