Yes go for KiddaC orginal skin this will work but the the original is allways best :)

With permission from Skin Author digiteng i have converted this skin for OpenBlackHole and OpenBH 4 Ultimate
Download ipk file and upload to /tmp/ then install with "Green Button" then "Yellow Button" choose manual install ipk package.
All credit goes to Skin Author :)

Yes and and i am pretty sure you got your hands on a clone my friend with orginal image in the flash. They end up with this problems

This is the eminet Vskin HD from KiddaC now adapted for OpenBH 4 Ultimate and OpenBlackhole 4.1
Screenshots are from OpenBH 4 Ultimate and Blackhole Sys panel, Blackhole download server is OpenBH 4 Ultimate only but skin works perfect on regular OpenBlackHole 4.1

I strongly recommend that you download and install his Movieplanner mod for best performence and its works 100% with any of Matrix 10 orginal skins in Vskin mode
See last screenshot. Use Moviplanner modd for "Vix"

If OpenVpn has hanged on boot try to unplugg the Ethernet cable so there is no network then if its OpenVpn thats fucking up the reciver should boot up
or at least go to flashmode
But this problems are 99% clone related

Can i ask if you know that OpenVpn is installed and running on those Recivers?
If its an original Vu+ there is no way of flashing trough the rs232 port. You can only logon with putty and get some error logs by
typing "Init 4" and then enigma2. The good thing is if you find Plugin OpenVPN running you can stop the service and then get life back in the Solo2
In 950 of 1000 reboots there are no problem with OpenVPN but sometime it can block the whole startup and leave you with a lifless reciver.
Clones can be flashed through the rs232 port and often thats the problem, Clone crapp flashed with original Image and you get stuck with
bootscreen TV ;)

Those images works fine as long as you dont do online update.
If you want to test another image i recommend to test ATV my self is an old Blackhole dude so i stick to Blackhole images like
Blackhole/OpenBlackhole and OpenBH 4 Ultimate Other images are so diffrent and old dogs are hard to learn new things ;)
But ATV at least i can find around in the menu system :) and KiddaC makes some amazing skin for that image

Tip when working with Blackhole skins. NEVER fiddle with the "Alias Code" allways change code for the listbox direct.
And Mr Raed is now for modding Metrix 10 skins without permission and adding alot of unnessery code to his skins.
Dont say he does a bad work but i relly dont like when people are using others hard work without permission.
And another nice thing with permission is that you allways can ask the author for help when you get stuck ;)

You need Blackhole image 3.0.4 any version that have 100% working CI+ without any carpy helper
OpenBlackhole Only first image release 4.1.0.0.1
OpenVix still have Ci+ support and OpenATV also have it but hurry up soon it wil be gone there also

OK then i miss understand you my friend i was thinking that you wanted this skin to work in Blackhole
I have attached a skin.xml file with working Pluginbrowser for both Blackhole and OpenBlackhole
Try in OpenPli since OpenBlackhole is built on OpenPli maybe it works there, its ready with Itemhight=70 in pluginbrowser

Yes when they remove the hacked drivers (Ci+ helper) and hacked certificate it will not work any more. And Blackhole has removed all older images
so you cant download them any more.
For open Blackhole its only first edition that works and for Blackhole its 3.0.5.D thats the last working image.

But shortley. Its only OpenATV that still supports CI+ i f you use BlackHole, OpenBlackhole you need to not update image online
since they stopped using CI+ drivers in the newer image.
Probably will OpenATV soon follow since ther wil be legal action taken agains produces who have no certificates for use of CI+

If its original not a clone and you use the "scandisc usb stick" formated as describe for you in windows then all original Vu+ will flash from front usb port.

They are 2 diffrent worlds. But if you like them both change to OpenBlackhole and if you really like Blackhole go for OpenBH 4 Ultimate.
That image mod can take BlackHole, ATV, VIX and Open Pli skins ;)

Can you upload the 2 .sh files here so i can take a look of what they are accully doing
The ipk file cant be extracted by ar command so therefor i dont want to install scared of crashing and bootscreen tv ;)

I am not sure what this mod is intended for? But Blackhole is very limeted to screen names. None of this screen names are in a Blackhole Skin module
so for making them work you have to add the modd to the original skin module file or make an import screen to the original Plugin.pyo file if its for plugin browser. If its a mod for greenpanel then you have to modd the greenpanel pyo file so you realy got your work cut out here my friend :)

Include files are not supported in pure BlackHole skins. All code has to go into skin.xml

Where do you have Barry Allen installed? if you have installed on HDD then Blackhole will identify it as Flash in multiboot.
