Network cameras and webcams
- Pictures of the camera can be retrieved with IP or URL (mjpeg is not suitable), optional in addition mpeg or H.264 video
or video stream only (possible alarm display: switch TV to switch to camera stream)
- working network and internet connection
- installed module python-imaging (usually installed by the feed if not available)
because again and again not known (and that has nothing to do with the plugin):
on the boxes known to me no MJPEG can be displayed and a video stream is not displayed in the thumbnail!
This plugin uses the existing hardware and can not make it better! Therefore, hardware-related limitations in the update speed (due to low-cost cameras, bad network, weak box, etc.) can not be remedied by software ...
Function:
- Display any number of network cameras
- adjustable preview for video cameras, refresh the thumbnails
- Send on / off commands or other commands (also to a switchable socket, for example)
- send CGI commands to the camera (s) (Pan & Tilt)
- in alarm display of text, thumbnail or plugin type / alarm image freely adjustable in size, switch channels in "pure video"
- Monitoring a camera for movement and autom. save the pictures
- advanced motion monitoring (selectable): cam-check expert
- is a bit more complex to set, but allows a more error-free, reliable detection
(Load on the box is also a bit higher)
- Use camera motion detection when it can create a file
- Camera display when FritzCall detects the selected number
- extensive adjustment possibilities
- permanently displayable thumbnail (alternatively alternately on all cameras, position and size adjustable - Attention: the speakers can not normally show a stream in the PiP, so only JPG display!)
