CCcam.2.3.0 is the only version that works properly on the latest images. Configure it in the CCcam.cfg. Default config directory for this image is /usr/keys folder..

I put cfg in etc before, I think that is the reason it was not working on my Solo2

sorry for hijacking this thread..
Running into problems with cccam 2.3.0 and Openatv images. (running the latest 5.1 build - 12 dec or something, tried several images.. same problem)
I configure the cam, all is working but after a while (hours, minutes.. seems to be randomly) the cam just stops working.
When i check the softcam panel, it's setting is back to 'no cam'.
After a reboot of the gui, everything works again.. for a certain time.Any idea what i can do for resolving this? It's driving me mad..
btw, i've tried older versions of cccam as well. Problem here is that the older version don't seem to work when recording a program and watching a show on a different channel!
Decoder: Vu+ Solo 2

no is doscam with ccam just put your c line in ccam cfg don't do nothing more
-
right, downloaded that version 2.1.3 but it still gives me the problem of recording and unable to look at a different channel.
I downloaded the doscam, cccam 2.3.0 via th satpanel but apparently it installs the same 2.1.3 version.. -
Install the attached oscam > convert the c or n line to a reader with cccam2oscam > copy/paste/save the [reader] into oscam.server file > use the attached configs > ftp config files to /usr/keys.

Cheers that did the trick!
Stupid question, it worked even without the dvbapi configured. Is the dvbapi needed as well? If yes, why?

If you want to use OScam for watching TV (not only for reading cards) you need to configure dvbapi and setup an [account] for it in oscam.user..
The configs within the ipk had dvbapi configured, you could have used either and it would have worked..
Not all ipk`s you will find will have dvbapi configured, that`s why i gave the configs as well..
-
ok, the dvbapi is a 'user' right?
At the moment, i have no users configured in oscam and it's working? -
ok, the dvbapi is a 'user' right?
At the moment, i have no users configured in oscam and it's working? In oscam.conf you will have the dvbapi parameter:
Code[dvbapi] enabled = 1 au = 1 pmt_mode = 0 request_mode = 1 [COLOR='#FF0000']user = linuxsatsupport[/COLOR] read_sdt = 1 write_sdt_prov = 1 boxtype = dreambox
With an [account] setup for it in oscam.user:
The user must match in both oscam.conf & .user
