How to find out your DM800 Bootloader

To find out what bootloader your DM800 is simply do the following
* Telnet to your box
* Log in
* Type ' ipkg list '
* Look for the line - dreambox-secondstage - 7#-r0 -

And hey presto, you now know for sure what bootloader your DM800HD is.

Hi! Thanks for your post. I will try this later today but I still have a doubt:

will this procedure work if I've already flashed the DM800? Yesterday I've done the upgrade to SSL76D and then I got an "hardware could not be verified" error. I suppose this is due to using the wrong SS. What I'm not sure is if I will be able to see the original SS or the upgraded one...

Another way to find out the bootloader is pull the plug from the dm800.
Hold the power button while the plug is off, (standby is not enough).
Plugin the dm800 and watch the led screen until it says STOP, let go of the power button.
All the bootloader information will be on the led screen..

Guys, thanks for your help. I did the telnet procedure and now I know I have a SSL76.

Unfortunately, I still get the same "hardware could not be verified error". This is what I did:

1. Applied a SSL75-update-SSL76.nfi
2. Applied the DreamElite v1.0 image (NewDE-1.0-Final-dm800-e2-OE(1.6)_21-12-2010-15-41.nfi
3. SSL76-to-SSL76a

I have the same problem as with the NewNigma2 image. After the language selection wizard phase I get the "hardware could not be verified error". What can this be? I don't know what else to try...

Make sure the image is compatable with the bootloader for your clone.
All the images in this thread are compatable with your dm800 clone, DM800 Clone Patched Images for Sim2.01 Bootloader 76.

eduardonpinto install the tunisiasat add on panel and from that panel install the sim 2.01 tuner drivers!
You can install any image you want this way! Been testing quiet abit lately! Even the openpli daily images are working for me!
Install the image using browser!
Without rebooting install the 76d bootloader in the same way!
Reboot the box and install tunisiasat add on!
Install the 2.01 drivers from inside the panel!
Reboot and your tuner problems will be fixed!
