You can use win32 disk imager to copy your whole sd card to another:

Or you can backup your openelec settings and ftp them to your new wetek and restore them on to it:

when i use windows 32 disk manager and try to read the sd card i get error image file cannot be located on the target device ?

Sorry to be giving baby steps here but firstly you'll have to power down wetek.
Remove the sd card and insert it into your pc with win32 disk imager on it.
It should then detect your card (all going well).
This is a good tutorial on how to back up your sd card's image using win32 disk imager:
Remember, what ever size your sd card is at the moment, you'll have to write your backup to an equally sized or sometimes larger sd card (I think it has something to do with the way it is partitioned on the card). -
hi codar thanks for your help but when i insert the sd card into laptop and open win 32 disk manager it as 2 files on it kernal.img and system and when i press read i get the error above could you please help

Been a while since I done it (only going from memory which may be sketchy, have sold my wetek a while ago)
Firstly you have to create a path/location to read the image to.
I think you press the folder icon on win32 disk imagerThen navigate to a location on your pc to where you want to save it (you will also have to assign it a name in that location )
Hit the "read" button
It should create the backup then. -
cheers codar got it sorted now thanks again for your help mate much appreciated
