Power timers

Hi
ive had problems with this before but thought it was cured, ive set my vu solo and miricle box ultra both with the latest openvix image on, ive a power timer set to restart the miracle box at 6.30 each morning but its getting stuck when it powers down and does not restart, its still got power but the box is unresponsive to the remote, i have to turn power off at the back then reboot it that way, if i occasionaly reboot it from the controler manually then it usally starts up ok, does anyone else have this problem? i presume its a problem with the image?? i know its a first world prob but i do like to start my server from fresh every morn, does anyone else restart there server every day or do you just leave it on, is there any advantages to restarting ?
