Cross epg not saving

Hi guys I know this as been covered before and I have had this working on other images no problem but I can't get the cross epg to save to hard drive on my dm800 clone running the SIM2-SSL84B-DM800HD-Dream Elite 3.0_By Sat4fun-Team Image.
Any help appreciated and thanks

Are you sure its not saved?

It could possibly be saved and just needs a manual reload after a reboot?

has the HDD been formatted for use with the |DM800 and initialised?

It would'nt save when i tried the latest dream elite image on my original dm800, i tried with usb stick and hdd with no joy so ended up flashing back to nemesis....

Tried formatting and initialising and USB stick also tried different version of cross epg still no luck.

FTP to /media/usb and see if the crossepg folder is there, delete it and reboot then follow this guide, the steps are for Vu+ but will be the same for all images.

Has the USB been mapped properly, mountpoints set as /media/usb ?
