  • I cannot access my web interface after trying to get cccam and mgcamd working.
does anyone have any ideas please? i'd like to check and edit bouquets this way so its a bit confusing

  • I did set one up originally and its reading as that ip set on my router but will quickly double check on the box

ok did a network test and everything is setup fine, so i'm not sure what to do now as i'm still unable to access the web interface and using the latest VIX team image

i've used csstudio to test the network and that's saying Update failed : Unable to connect to 192.168.0.4:16001 so could it be that when I changed and uploaded config settings for the cams that this would have possibly affected it?

  • Just tested on vix all working fine here on my static ip for the et9000

try clearing out your browser cash or another browser and restarting your router

  • If the ip address is ok then i`m assuming CCcam isnt active, you said before it was working so its not an installation problem.

Uploading configs to Mgcamd will not affect how CCcam works.

Have you tried a full reboot since the problem started ?

CCcam is running, should I disable it and try?
i've also cleared my cache and tryed a different browser but no luck

  • Have you added "ALLOW TELNETINFO=YES" to your config file?

best to do a restart after editing your config file

  • Other people have tried disabling the auto cam start from the softcam manager and then re-enabling it again sorts it out too.

  • can you connect your box at all? if you can telnet or ftp to it then the problem could be the server or the port. check your CCcam.cfg file to make sure the port is set to 16001 (WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001)

If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

    :red:

  • ok willl try those, thanks

well the problem with cccam seems better as it's able to connect to server, however I still can't access the basic web interface.
I can however access the cccam interface as I get the 'Welcome to CCcam 2.0.11 server' message.. any thoughts?

  • I resolved to install the hdfreaks image over vix
in conclusion it works way better than vix team image, and the web interface is fine now, channel zapping is also a lot better :)
