I can use srp tool x86 to toggle the smargo so it's obviously alive.
Can anyone please explain what command I have to send to stop and start CCcam.x86
Beyond this I am now lost....time to give up me thinks

Hi thanks for that, but stiil not working.
I'm stumped as the server sees the smargo to allow me to toggle modes/freqs etc
I can even get a client to connect to the server and show up on the panel but cccam info says no card inserted.
I've now tried pretty much everything in that thread. Debian not working for me. Perhaps need to try something different ?
Close but no cigar....
Ok mate i have never owned a smargo so am prob not the best to advise here. What i will say is if you do look at something else try this
HOW TO - CCcam+Oscam Automated Installation for Ubuntu
Support for your reader is included with the install, all that you should need to do is set the correct config & reader path for your card.
Hi, thanks but gonna ditch this, didn't work for me and not going to waste any more time on it.
I might try Ubuntu 11.10server instead with that install to see how that goes
In the meantime thank god for Dreambox !
Good luck ekkostar, i have linked you to a script that works 100% on ubuntu with everything made easy for you again as in post #24. I can confirm it works well in 10.10 server edition, I will close this thread now so you don't as you said waste anymore time asking questions & maybe even do some reading,
