    oscam.conf

I have configured my Oscam Emu using the Auto Configuration generator here : http://linuxsat-support.com/view.php?pg=oscam_generator

I have 1 NewcamD reader and 1 service (Caid 0963) which on the face of it is working erratically.

I can see the EMMS and they are being found and subsequently the service is decoded succesfully.

The issue is that i get the "Not Found" error in the logs - the thing is that exactly the same Emm was decoded correctly before - it is so unstable to the point of being unuseable.

Is there a better way of configuring OSCAM not to use NewCamD as it seems to be so unstable?

    Any help appreciated.

Edited once, last by welby: more info ().

  • Try the dvbapi way .
Where did you get the line

Hi thank you for the reply do you have a link to setting up the dvapi way?

If you are only a client/using a remote reader then you don`t need any oscam.services as this is for a real card or limiting what you share with other peers.

The only way to configure an N line in oscam is to use it with newcamd protocol.. Try updating oscam or use a different emulator like CCcam or mgcamd..

Hi thanks for the replay - I thought I was on the latest release of OSCAM - it works perfect in CCcam but going forward I believe CCcam development is stopped plus I am thinking of upgrading to the new VU 4K Solo and that will only run OSCAM.

Update: OK got it working - deleted the services and patched oscam with a patch from "joeuser" - happy - thanks all :)
