As in the title what does the oscam.srvid file do. It looks like it is a list of providers.
What does the Oscam.srvid file do.

Its similar to CCcam ChannelInfo, it allows you to see which channel oscam is decoding in the web-interface instead of viewing the sid. Its also required to map any services you setup for your card or peers..

So in theory would there be such a thing as a Oscam.srvid for every provider in europe be available to save having just one for each provider? Would having the wrong information in the file cause problems with oscam decoding the channel. I'm just expanding my knowledge of oscam.

On the NavBar click oscam, you have oscam config generator or oscam srvid generator, both do the same thing but have different providers..
Wrong srvid info wouldn`t cause an issue decoding a channel for you, it may cause issues for peers if you were using an outdated srvid with services to restrict or allow certain channels..
