Your files will be fine to use in debian mate.

256 trick doesnt work with CCcam 2.3.0, it will show your card as HOP10, so pointless using it with oscam.

In post 1 you mentioned oscam configs, what master g is saying is there is no point using any CCcam version above 2.1.3 with oscam as your local will show as hop10.
