    Setting Password


    Hi, need some help. I am using openATV 5.1 with a VU+ SoloSE


    I can change my root password using telnet. “passwd”


    However in the plugin menu I found a plugin in systemplugins “setpasswd (2.0+git5962)”.
    I used the extra feature “Change Root Password” in “Usage & GUI” the plugin adds.
    I changes the password to test and pressed the green (Set Password) key.
    I get the message “! ERROR – Sucessfully changed password for root user to: test
    I have restated the box.
    However the password has not changed. When using say FileZilla the password has not changed. What am I doing wrong?
