  • I've been in Satellite receiving for the last twenty five years but not with this type of receiver.I've used technomate and protek for that period of time and been quite happy with with their performance especially the Protek. You buy it and that's it.No more expense and plenty of channels with quite a few with dual language and if your into Sport you've cracked it.Where can I get some plain info how Linux works. What are images? And I get the impression that there is additional expense after buying a Linux in paying servers.Or am I wrong?Any advice would be appreciated. Yours,Sateric.

Images are the firmware, operating system for the receivers ,basically all of the images do the same thing just the look and style of them can be slightly different.

The only additional expense should be a legitimate subscription to a package.
