    have all my channels workng in kodi in home but not away from home

    help please been at this for a week, loads of sites, really want to be able to watch channels away from home.

    tried en2 player does same,

    am usng ipad, but was same with laptop

    using Vix4 enigma 2

  • Have you open a port for streaming on your router?
    I think the default streaming port is 8001 on most images.
    You could then use the openwebif (with vlc) to view your channels (provided your upload speed is adequate)

  • still cannot access, have tried all different things, added ports to technicolor router still no access even put on https still nothing

  • Vix4 may be the problem as it's modified to run on your box.
    Have you tried a different image written for your box (atv and hdmu do one i think)
    Also, make sure your port is opened and forwarded to your receivers ip.
    This website will check if your port is open

    Code

    You'll also need decent upload speed, especially on hd content.
    Another thing to consider is weather your receiver is fast enough , I haven't much experience with amiko's but I'm sure someone will tell you if it's possible with those receivers.
