Alsat Supreme Intelligent LED DiSEqC DarkMotor All Metal Gears is it dead

My motor has stooped working no led flashing and i cant move east or west.

Checked cable connections all seemed fine.

Happened after i changed from Triax 110d to 88cm dish.

Set the dish to zero moved ok but from then on no go no led flashing.

I am shortly going to run a cable form the sky dish to the triax to see if its the cable.

As i have put the cables from the sky box in to the vu solo4k and can get 28.2 all working fine.

If it's the motor i will try the technomate TM 2600 as i have only had the motor about 18 months

It's the cable took one out of sky dish put in line connector and a piece up to motor and moved it west.

The original cable is wf 100 and the extension was rg59 cable .

So the problem is cable on the motor or going into the box

I have been given 20mtrs of rg59 twin cable.

I have two type of f connector rg6 and sky.

The RG6 i had to cut a load of outer sheath and pull braid back just for it to grip and for the sky i had to force it on twisting the cable for the extension i used to test

Are there any connectors for the rg59

Ditched the rg59 cable and bought 20mtr of RG6 made one off snug fit on the cable.

Not going to use compression fittings.

The only problem i have got is the lounge has been decorated paper and painted and er indoors has said you are not making any mess trying to get the cable through the wall.
