Dead smargo problem

has anyone ever had any luck resurecting smargo

one i had was working ok until yesterday then without warning stopped working. rebooted server and this is result from my oscam script.

i have tried another smargo and server works fine, so problem with the smargo.

wish i had asked the question before i ordered a spare. i ordered on this morning for £29.
by the way lfc4ever I was going to try a omnikey reader myself, but did not know which one to order as there seem to be many different models.
can you tell me which model you use?
