ftp to usr/share you just use one

I have unzipped them and transferred them to usr/share .

I usually change the bootlogo from plugins/downloads/ bootlogo.

Or do i ftp the full file not unzipped

Extract bootlogo.rar with winrar or 7-zip. Inside is a file named bootlogo.mvi, send this to /usr/share folder, overwriting the existing file, then restart enigma2..

Extract bootlogo1.rar the same way as above, only difference this time is the file is named bootlogo1.mvi, you need to change this to bootlogo.mvi, then send to the same location..

I have moved one file to usr/share it ask's if you want to overwrite existing file i say yes.

But on restart it still shows old bootlogo

The .mvi may be in another location as well.. Search for bootlogo.mvi in telnet, then delete/replace any you find:

Found and deleted three files replaced no joy.

I renamed the bootlogo files to backdrop and it worked first time
