  • Hi.

I've been using only CCCAM with a local CMore card for some years but recently I also bought a Swedish Viasat card wich I'm trying to activate in my VU+ Solo SE with the internal card reader.
I have successfully installed the cam and also the config files from this tread http://linuxsat-support.com/sh…-with-VU-Solo2-and-Viasat
but I still don't get any picture from the Viasat channels.

I can not access the oscam webif.
Is there any way of knowing for sure that oscam is running?
Do I need to add boxkey?
Is there any way of checking why my setup is not working?

    My config:

  • what kind of image on your box?
The card is paired to sd tuner and card works in this?
093E will only have boxid to function in oscam.
You do not need CCcam, Oscam do it alone with both your card and share to CCcam with CCcam protocol.

Thanks for your reply. This is driving me crazy...
I installed an new blackhole image yesterday because I was not able to successfully install oscam on the previous image.
I actually do not have the sd tuner so I have not tested. (my friend who bought the card+box still have the box)
I have tried also with boxkey in the oscam as you can see in my previous post. (the two X:s are something else) . I got the 11 digit boxid from the box removed the leading zero and converted it to hex with the windows calculator.
I do not really understand your last comment? Is there something wrong with my config?

  • Nothing wrong with your config, just that oscam do the job alone.
Install of Oscam / CCcam not needed.
    Forget this preliminary!
Can you see if your card has entitlements in the log when you log into webif.

    I sent you a PM.

    Hi.

I have finaly made some prgress after I noticed the card was not working in the viasat original HD-box.
I now have a new card that is working in the original box but I still can not get the VU+ to read the card.

Do I need a Smargo reader or can the VU+ solo Se box internal reader handle it?
Whats the minimum requirements of the oscam files to get viasat working on the local box?

    Web IF LOG:

  • Internal reader is good enough.
You say your card works in Viasat HD tuner?
The card must be paired to an SD tuner.
You also use the wrong caid on your card, if you look in the log caid is 0940.

    Thanks a lot!
The correct caid was all that was missing. SD box NOT required.

HD channels not working. Is this normal?
