running latest open black hole. All the UK channels seem to have the NAR enabled. I know how to disable individually, but is there a setting to disable it altogether

I don't use Open Blackhole but have used Blackhole for years.Have you tried Setup/System/Autolanguage selection settings.Auto selection 1-Original.Selection 2-English.Selection 3- none.Selection 4-None.Prefer Ac3-No.Prefer audio stream-Yes.Press ok.These settings work on the latest Blackhole 3.0.2.F.

Just out of curiousity press the help button.Is there anywhere on the list you have opened say disable subtitles?If so disable them.

no mate. Nothing on help button. Sure it will be very simple but I just can't find it. I have tried every setting I can think of and have got it set up according to BH website so am baffled

I may be off track here, but I remember having this problem some time back, and as I remember it was sorted by setting "prefer audio track stored by service" to "no" in the auto language settings.

Your post is a bit confusing bud.... you said you want to turn the narration audio track off (NAR) this doesn't show subtitles. Now it's the subtitles your last few posts has been about. Which option is it you want to turn off??

yes mate sorry about that. I cured the narration part with the help of robocop but then ended up with the subtitle problem

to turn subs off
on remote
press the audio button
then press the yellow button
look for the one with the x at the end
highlight it and press ok
subs are now off -
