  • Hi,

    I cant get my card to update and I'm unable to work out if it is possible using my setup.

    I have two boxes both VU+ (only one config included). These use Cccam to connect to my Oscam server. The server is a Raspberry Pi using a smargo. I would very much appreciate any help. Many thanks

    My configs are as follows

    Unless you are watching channels on the PI remove the [dvbapi] parameter from oscam.conf, its not needed..

    CCcam is known to be unreliable for receiving EMM`s/updates. Try with newcamd on the pi and possibly mgcamd on one of the vu+ receivers..

    Add this to oscam.conf:

    Code
    [newcamd]
    port = 10001@0963:000000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    keepalive = 1

    Now use an n line or CWS line if using MGCamd:

    Code
    N: 192.168.1.86 10001 Duo2*** ******* 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    CWS = 192.168.1.86 10001 Duo2*** ******* 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    Change port = 10001 to your own port and 192.168.1.86 to your server ip address..

  • I'm using CCcam on my client box. I think I've worked it out, I've added the N line to my CCcam.cfg and created a new user in Oscam and the channels are now clearing.
    Do I need to add the '1' or the name of my reader to the AU option for this user?

    many thanks

  • OK thanks, I've made these changes. I've left the box on BTsports1 hopefully it will update.

    I left my box on BTsports1 overnight and I have not received any EMM's. Do I need to wait longer or have I got some configuration wrong?
