Nothing on tsmedia (except for youtube) or any other streaming plugin would work so I looked online for a solution. It kept giving me the error of "gstreamer plugin missing".
Then I saw: someone saying to install libcurl4, and how it could be installed with: "opkg install libcurl4" from telnet so I did that.
I also typed: "opkg install gstreamer", maybe that was stupid.
Now every time I try to play ANY media file, enigma2 just restarts. Youtube also will not work and did before.
Is there any thing I can try to fix this?
Enigma2 crashing every time I try to play a media file.

Vu+ Solo 2 SE with Openpli 4.0.
It's okay, I have installed a fresh image and media files (except from streaming) are working fine again.
I read a post somewhere suggesting to just update the software it is complaining about. I realize now it's not a good idea to go around installing things without understanding what I'm doing.

I can't reply to pms for some reason, but the problem I have is with any IPTV or any tv/movie links. The only thing on TSmedia that works is youtube video.
It would be really nice to be able to get stuff like USTVNow if anyone has any suggestions. Particularly in case there is a change in the scrambling. -
You can use Kodi launcher on all latest official images except openpli.. Download vuplus-kodi from the image feeds, then install USTVnow from our add-ons panel..

Openpli 4.0 beta is the only one that I can get working, I have tried versions of Black Hole and Vix that are supposed to work with my box and both get freezing errors. I want to stick with it now.
I tried kodidirect on Openpli and like TSMedia it starts but not play streams, IPTV or series/movies. Radio streams do work however. Long ago IPTV worked fine on this box as well, but that was with a black hole image.
