Can anyone help me. I'm using World Vision Force 1+ reciever with openatv 5.3 and I cannot get this linuxsat panel ipk plugin (or any other for that matter) to work. I've FTP the files over..no probs...when clicking to install I'm getting this message "Done - Installed, upgraded or removed 0 packages (with 0 errors)". I've tried the telenet "...force overwrite.." command and get an error there also. Please help?????
Need help installing Linuxsat Panel on openatv 5.3 image

try to send the plugin to hdd mate! then install it ...

Check to see if your flash is full (menu-info should tell you I think)
If your flash is full, maybe plugin skin mover may help you relocate some plugins to an external usb/hdd to free up internal flash

Not home atm. Pretty sure flash memory was showing 128mb free. Thought that would be plenty for a plugin??? But will look into it further at home later. Plenty of space on my hdd if that's an option. Thanks for the suggestions anyway. Fill yas in later.

Incidentally can I ask how there would be room for this plug in mover if there "might" be none for the panel ipk in the first place?

OK ...just checked. Out of 212mb flash memory, I've 106mb free. Surely this isn't a memory issue?

Update...tried all of the above. FTP the plugin mover ipk. Showed up in ipk installer (Install Local extension) through the blue button on remote. Hit green for install.... same warning as above ie "Done - Installed, upgraded or removed 0 packages"
also tried moving ipk to hdd to force install....exact same warning. WTF is going on????? My head is going to explode here guys/gals!!! -

Can you fill me in on what this involves?
Installing teamviewer on your laptop or pc, then sending jokosat the id and pass in private, so he can remotely connect to your desktop and install the panel for you, while you watch..
I can vouch for jokosat, so there will be no funny business, you can see everything he will be doing..

I am free now if u need my help

OK might need to arrange this. My receiver seems to only install singular mipsel.ipk files if this makes sense??? Any of the ipks with " all" in file name just won't work. Got TS Panel, softcam panel and CCcam 2.3 on no probs. For some reason my N Line is showing red in ccam server info. So tried to download different cams through TS Panel and whist they show up in TS Panel they ARE NOT listed at all in softcam panel. I get a choice of CCCAM 2.3 or no cam active regardless of me having whichever cam switched on in TS Panel (green dot beside it)
Any ideas? -
Not everything you download from TSPanel will be compatible with the image.. Use the attached CCcam.. Default softcam config location for openatv is /usr/keys folder..
-
personally would remove TSpanel as overrated & not needed

All sorted now. Thank you all so much.....consider myself technical minded but would be b*****ed without your help here guys. Thanks again.

i will try this post to setup cccam on openatv images. i've tried before and it was unsuccessful... hope it works for me too!!
