hi everyone, i wanna know What is it for or the advantage to have dreambox 800 with 400mhz mips or dual core like dm820??? same thing with VuPlus

i dont understand, i ask for processor not for vuPlus or dreambox .. if you have a high level of processor whats the advantage ??? for exemple:i dont wanna have a pc with processor I5 for reading the news
It starts (boots) faster.
Can change channel a little bit faster.
Can start plugins faster.

At the end of the day, your receiver is basically a linux computer with tuner(s) installed.
The faster the processor, the smoother the performance.
A 400mz processor will get you there but will take a little bit of extra time in doing so.
