New 8500 ATV cable issue

Hi All

Just wondering who all has noticed the recording bug with 2 cable tuners? Certain channels like SS 2/3 are blocky if recording SS1? I trued various combos and happens on loads.

My friends on another forum knows of 5 boxes the same.

If you instantly switch to VIX the problem is solved!

Does anyone have any good English contacts at ATV???

Report the issue on their forum mate, they have an English section. Have you done a full dvb/c scan on the atv image ?? The cable.xml is very old.

Bit of an update to the software bug, found if you flash with ATV 5.2 the issues with recording and viewing another channel go away.
So it's definitely a bug in 5.3

Any reply on their forum ? I remember this issue on other boxes a while ago, was sorted quickly.

There was a reply but even translated didn't really help us ha ha. We will post again.
