Mgcamd problem

    Hi all,
    I have an xtrend et8000 with open vix. My line is on mgcamd. Last night watching the Lfc game it was glitching like mad so I started the box which helped a little. At half time I rebooted my router, since then nothing is clearing. No video or audio... I've rebooted the box still nothing, restarted mgcamd, still nothing.
    Sub titles for the programme are showing on a blank screen.
    On the banner when you change channel I'm sure there used to be something flashing when you change channel but now there isn't. I've looked in the network menu and network test I have lan connection and a tick but a cross on local, ip address and nameserver.
    Please any help appreciated

    Sounds like your box doesn`t have an internet connection..


    Make sure DHCP is turned on, reconnect the ethernet cable, restart the network..


    If that doesn`t work, try with dhcp turned off, then manually set the ip address and nameserver, restart your network after making any changes..

    Thanks for the reply. It's all sorted now I just got angry and switched the box off at the mains fir 30 mins. When I turned it back on it all connected. Restarted my mgcamd and all OK.
