Tutorial for Ubuntu Server 16.04 (CCcam, Oscam and Smargo)

Hi Guys,

Sorry to be a pain here but I am trying to find a tutorial that is for Ubuntu Server 16.04 to install CCcam, Oscam and Smargo Card reader. Apparently the cccam.x86 and oscam files are already in 16.04 I have been told but I cannot locate them any ideas where they are or if there is a step by step tutorial process as I am at a loss here.

The only tutorials I have seen is for older versions of Ubuntu Servers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Although the tutorial you have been linked too in previous threads are for older versions, it will still work..

Whoever told you that CCcam and oscam comes standard in the latest version of ubuntu is full of it buddy..

Follow the guide i linked again and post the issues you are having..

and on page 36 you will find a modification to the original guide that will give you the answers you require , its documented in teh thread as working by 2 users one of which is myself only say erm a month ago :)
just add smargo at end of install if required for pcsc i just added configs and was sweet
enjoy :)

only issue ive came across is the card-update for my card :)

but im sure that could be sorted easily enough :)

Is there a way to change the card ID it's sharing once the server is up and running?
