does not give film description or fanart

    I have 2 HD attached via usb to my ASUS RT-N66U router, so its acting as a server.


    windows network (smb) > workgroup > wdbook > samsung_hd1 > movies


    I can access the folders in xbmc via SMB and lists the films, they play fine, however it does not give film description or fanart.


    I can sometimes access via Network File System (NFS) this lists the films, gives all the info and fanart, but wont play the movie.


    any way i can play the films and in the list show all info and fanart?
