How can i install gbox 811k on openvix? The zipfile contains dev/ mips,keys,arm how do install this properly? I am used to IPK files which is easy to do
Send the compatible gbox binary file for your receiver to /usr/softcams folder, change permissions to 755, then restart enigma2.
You didn`t mention which receiver you have so i dunno whether you should use the version for mips, arm, sh4 etc..

I have a VuPlus Duo2. What do i do with the other files and how do i make it show up in the softcam manager
Use the mips version for vuplus duo2. Once you add the binary to /usr/softcams it will show up in softcam manager, no script needs edited like on other images.
Which is the binary file. The zip contains:
MIPS folder:
gbox.mips
ARM folder:
gbox.arm.apollo
gbox.arm.nevis
And where does the keys folder go?
Binary file is gbox.mips (you can rename this to anything you want). FTP keys folder to /usr
