Viasat card in reader / JSC Card in reader & Oscam

Hi

Here's hoping someone can help over a few queries on the Vu Duo

1) Can I use a viasat card in the internal reader?

Do i need to overclock it to 357?

Am i best using an omnikey?

If so what configuration do I need?

2) Do I need to use Oscam to read / share the viasat card?

I have downloaded Oscamv6408 & Cccam 2.13

I need a solution to try to read a JSC card in the other card reader.

3) Can I use Oscam to read / share a JSC I***** card?

Do I need to overclock?

Has anyone got a working configuration

You have the right cams installed for both cards. There is no need to overclock as oscam will set both to the correct speed,for it to do this just omit both these lines from your configs.

You will find configs for both cards here, look through the oscam support section for examples of how to edit both card configs together to use both cards in your duo.

The oscam version is irrelevant, you just need to build the configs.

Place these N lines in CCcam.cfg and disable anything related to reader, or FTP the attached files to the correct directories and restart oscam+CCcam.

Hi

Viasat card is in top slot
JSC in lower slot

I can see the N lines connecting but I have a black screen - The JSC card I checked in a Technomate 5402 and it cleared fine.

I have revisted this after I have got a satelltte BG card and my original Viasat card had not been updated

Satellite BG card works fine and shows entitlement, Viasat card does not

So Viasat card works in original box but I cannot get it to work in my Duo

I am running Oscam 1.2 v 6408 & Cccam 2.13

Do I need a Box ID?
