I have recently converted to Oscam after using CCcam for years.
I have downloaded the basic Oscam config and CCcam converter from this thread and put files into /etc/tuxbox/config/
My problem is that Oscam won't read my local Sky card.
I have it in top slot of Vu+Duo2 running OpenVix.
Any ideas anyone?

Does Oscam need boxid to read local Sky card which doesn't have Premium channels ( Sports & Movies )?
Where does it go? Anywhere in Oscam server file?
When I convert my NDS number, it's in a format similar to the following:
0080546245 ( not real number )
How is this converted with the two leading zeros

My vu uno needed the box key before it would even reconize the card was there before i put it in , it kept giving error .
I'm using white Sky card.
I 've also tried with CCcam 2.3 which shows entitlements but won't select card.
no need for boxid for your white card
Can anyone explain why if I use CCcam, then my entitlements show but still get blank screen?
With Oscam I also still get blank screen.
Could it be the card itself or a setting?
With a CCcam only setup you must have the boxid in your configs.....
BOXKEY : /dev/sci0 xx xx xx xx
With oscam if it is a white card you do not need to have the boxid in the configs... but if it is a red card you do.
boxid= xxxxxxxx
I have the following in my CCcam config:
BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 xx xx xx xx
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 3570000
CCcaminfo will read my entitlements but won't select card.
You could try to re-pair you card online to your receiver to see if it will sort it:

Others have reported cccam as troublesome in the past few weeks/months and have switched to oscam to get it working.
Post up both your cccam and oscam configs (remove sensitive info)

The basic oscam config won`t be configured for a sky card..
Use the attached configs.
You also have the card configured in the CCcam.cfg, remove that.. You can`t have both softcams reading the card, CCcam always takes over and oscam won`t work..
After you have added the oscam configs and removed the CCcam.cfg show us the oscam log from startup and after viewing some channels..

Sorting a m8 out today and confirm CCcam shows entitlements but does not decrepit the card with the latest images, Oscam works no problem.
Conclusion is CCcam is now dead.
no ccam is ok for read line i think setup on user oscam is wrong ,but my question way you want use ccam when oscam read your card ok ??

CCcam will decode from a server no problem but does not read local card.
Only reason for using CCcam is it has worked for many years but now is the time to retire it.
still need cccam for somes card ........ or lines
