I stand corrected, you are right buddy, silly me just assumed it was arm based, because all other 4K UHD receivers are.
The processor in the sf4008 is a broadcom 7251s.It is the same processor as in the Mutant HD51 and I can confirm it is an ARM processor. Google with : HDFreaks Liste-der-4K-Boxen-mit-E2.
So You have to use the Oscam Arm version.CCCam doesn t work with an ARM processor.
From what I have read Mgcamd 1.35 is the only MGcamd version for ARM, but only in combination with Blackhole and VTI images , so only for VU+ boxes ! -

Multiple Remote Control Support OCTAGON SF4008 4K

This is not new: I have a five year old XP1000 and I have ,since the beginning, changed my remote type to a DMM advanced remote(which was the remote of my old dreambox 600s)

I have this feature on my et8000
Any chance you could upload the plugin from your box,?? would like to try it on mine....hopefully it is not driver dependant. ??
TIA -
Its not a plugin i dont think im using vix go to menu/setup/system/setup input devices/configure remote control device and just toggle left or right to find the remote you want to use
