Hi downloaded ubuntu-14.04.4-server-i386 but cant get into oscam,help needed please
its a standalone pc,so what oscam do i need to login from laptop?

have you installed oscam through simple build. ubuntu server does not come with it installed

No,will see if i can get link now,which is best Oscam please?Forgot to say but setting this up as had Oscam unstable 1.20 but was not right,so now setting up again with this one,as told better.Its for myself and family/friends...

I use 10077 it's old but rock solid, you can pick which version you want through simple build, just follow that tut and you'l not go far wrong

Hi monkified,when i put theses in ' chown (yourname) /var, ' your name does it mean pcsc name,password or user name? Thank You for all your help..
I have pc name,user name,password,where its says ''yourname''in putty is it pc,user,or password I think user?as below

It sounds like you've not followed the tutorial pal, if your trying to sign in using putty you need to be root user

just got one fail in ubuntu 16.4 terminal,and idea what is missing please????
